During the State Convention, Food and Drink will NOT be allowed in the showroom!! Food and drink will be allowed in the Meeting Room across the hall from the showroom. Thanks for your understanding, NCRBA Convention Committee Special Events Raffle The NCRBA Youth & Open will have a raffle table setup for Saturday & Sunday. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated. Youth Royalty, 4H and Education Program Youth royalty and 4H contests will be held starting at 10:00am on Saturday. The royalty contest can be done in your free time on either day. Contestants must be 4H or NCRBA members (depending upon the contest). Winners will be awarded at the banquet. See page 10 for more details on the contests. General Membership meeting and elections A NCRBA general membership meeting and board/director election will be held immediately after the Saturday show at the show room, before the banquet. Banquet & Auction The banquet will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday evening in the banquet hall of the show location.. Money will be collect prior to banquet. Food will be catered. The banquet will have the following menu: Adult: Dinner $10.00 Rotisserie chicken, ham, 2 vegetables, tea, roll, salad Children: Dinner $5.00 Hotdog, hamburger, French fries, tea The NCRBA is also requesting each NCRBA affiliated club to bring a basket for the auction. 100% percent of all proceeds will go towards the youth scholarship fund. We hope you will join us at the banquet for fun and fellowship. This year s banquet will include the following: Auction, Royalty contest coronation, 2008 open & youth sweepstakes awards & other special awards.

Youth Contests NCRBA Activities: Time: Friday & Saturday, with all tests to be complete by 4:00 pm on Saturday. Please check at the youth registration table to begin your tests. Breed Id contest Participant to name the breed, standard variety and showroom variety of 10 breeds. Written Test This will be a written test on general rabbit knowledge. There will be awards for 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd in each contest. Royalty Contest requires participation in both of the above contests, with the highest combined score (from the two contests) determining each Royalty position. The positions are: Duke/Duchess (ages up to 8), Prince/Princess (ages 9 to 12), King/Queen (ages 13 and up). * Participation in the Breed ID and Written Test is required to qualify for the Royalty contest. Royalty contest award presentation during the banquet. * Participants in these contests must be NCRBA Youth and/or NCRBA members. If you aren t a member, we welcome you to join at the show! Youth Judging Contest this will be like the youth judging competition at national convention. Participants must check the rabbits for DQs and place them. Show Rules *** The American Rabbit Breeders Association host club reserves the right to refuse entries from exhibitors placing an entry from all locations within 150 miles of a confirmed outbreak of RHD/VHD/RVC within the past 60 days of the entry deadline. *** General 1. This show will conform to all ARBA show rules. 2. There will be no alcoholic beverages allowed at the show grounds. 3. No food or drinks in the showroom. No coolers allowed. Eat and drink in the designated area of the building. 3. No vendors without written permission of the NCRBA. 4. Parents will be responsible for their children - PLEASE ensure they behave as to provide an enjoyable, safe show for everyone. 5. No breeding of animals in the showroom. 6. Only animals entered in the show will be allowed in the show room. 7. Grooming of animals in area provided. 8. Lawn chairs in designated areas only. Show 1. All stock must be in the showroom by 8:30 a.m.. This is a carry cage show. Carriers must have a leak proof bottom. Place carriers on carpeted areas in showroom.. Judging begins promptly at 9 a.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday.. All youth entries must be carried by youth.. Youth must be between the ages of 5 through 18 years old..
