They will make new friends, enjoy using his/her dance talents in a unique way, and will also experience in a positive light the meaning of commitment and responsibility! When a dancer makes the team, in a very special way his/her parents do also. Although you may not be the ones in the spotlight and sweating in the studio, you are essential to the success of the group through your time and talents, even if they are as basic as carpooling to a competition! This is a year-long (August-July) commitment, so please read the following responsibilities carefully before deciding if a team-based commitment is for you and your dancer. If you are at all unsure of your ability to make the commitment, please speak with Catherine or Tawny prior to your audition. Please be aware that this is NOT a win at all costs team. All members will strive for personal best but with the understanding that we all have different abilities, the most important being the willingness to make a solid commitment to the team. We re looking for well-rounded, teachable dancers who want to improve. The teams are considered a privilege and are in addition to your weekly dance schedule. These teams require a great deal of passion and commitment.
