Is there any straw left over from fair? John said some was leftover from fair. Amy will talk to Debi about straw. No tee-shirts will be sold this show. There will be a poster contest and a witch and warlock hat contest. Information will be on FaceBook and John will also send e-mail. Information is also on the EPGA website. Amy will check to see if Debi ordered ribbons. Bi-Law change vote will be tonight. Debi walk into the room and is asked about ribbons. She did order ribbons. She will check on the straw. The straw from the fair was slick and fell apart. Bi-law change was read by John. The Members attending the June 2015 EPGA meeting are proposing the following change to the Evergreen Pygmy Goat Association By Laws. Pursuant to Article VIII of the EPGA By-Laws, a notice to the membership must be given twenty days prior to the meeting. It is the intent that the following amendment will be voted on at the next EPGA regular meeting. The By-Laws currently read: Amendment to Article VI Section 2: Section 2. A quorum for the transaction of business shall consist of at least six memberships in good standing. No meeting shall be valid without three duly elected officers present or represented. 3

The proposed change is from Members to Memberships and from 3 officers to 2 officers. No further discussion. One nay. The change was explained to Bow Lynne on over the phone. She voted by phone. The nay had a concern that it should be lowered to 4 or 5 instead of 6. The change passes. Staci and Melissa are going to chair the October 2016 show and not the June show. New Business: CPGA "judge roster" for 2016 4/14-17 (Spring Fair)- Puyallup- Fri-Rebecca Mumpower Sat-Jason Overman Sun-Tim Norman 6/3-5 (K Roy Memorial) - Longview Sat-Karen Colwell Sun-Sarah Read 8/19-21 (SWWF)- Chehalis- Fri-Tammi Josephson Sat (fair)- Sun-April Seiler 9/23-25 (WA State Fair)- Puyallup- Fri-Lisa Bragg Sat (fair) Doug Bragg Sun-(probably Denise Fraser) 10/7-9 (Oktoberfest)- Longview- Sat-Bryson Staley Sun-Scott Colwell 4

Joyce is working on our judges list for next year. Elections will be coming up. All positions are open. Brandi will take nominations. Let Brandi know if you want to elect someone or volunteer for your position again. Robin proposed that EPGA FaceBook page be public and not private. A discussion followed that EPGA has a web page for public and the FB is for more club discussion. Do we want to open FB to attract more potential members? FB is a social network. The web site has information for the public. FB is for the clubs interaction. All current information should be on the FB site and on the EBGA web page. John has been maintaining sites. Paul has not seen any information that should be kept secret. Julie asked if anyone would like to see this changed. 5 people are interested in changing it to be public. For the October meeting this will be discussed. The thought is if it is open to the public it may attract more people. At the October meeting the group will be playing Pygmy Trivia. Amy Burt volunteered to chair the June show. HI Everybody, A Letter From Smucket Melanie removed the furniture from our deck!! We got up one morning is it was all over the lawn. We didn t even want to sit on the deck and Birdie was really upset. She said that she had arranged everything in perfect Feng Shui. I still don t know what that is. Then she put some stuff on it but did the last corner in the dark so she had to put some more on the next day. Instead of having us in the garage she put a chair in front of the stairs. As if that was going to stop us. Birdie pushed past the chair and led us up onto the deck while Melanie stood in the yard holding her head in her hands yelling Nooooooo. Luckily the stuff was dry and Birdie didn t get any on her hooves. That would have been more drama. The furniture is back and we have to admit the deck looks very nice. As you probably know we had lots of wind that one Saturday. Melanie went to a thing called a PAWS Walk. She volunteers in the wild life section. I don t know why. None of those animals like her, especially the squirrels. Anyway Birdie went out first after breakfast and the door slammed shut locking the rest of us in the garage. We could hear her out there but no thumbs to open the door. When Melanie got home Birdie was in the yard with a glassy look on her face (according to Melanie). The table on the deck was blown over AND part of the fence was down! Melanie freaked and tried to get Birdie inside without letting the rest of us outside. I guess that Melanie was glad that we were inside all day. She was afraid that I would go and check out the neighborhood. We had to stay inside the next day. We kept yelling, Hello, you forgot to open the door! However the neighbors fixed it right away and we went outside again. + The vet made a farm visit today (Melanie loves that) and gave us an exam since Rebel is shedding a lot again. He had no bugs and got some medicine. The rest of us are beautiful and perfect. A vet tech who knew Simon when he was a puppy came with the vet mostly to see Simon. She was surprised that we were so friendly and that they didn t have to catch us although Rebel wasn t happy to see them. Of course, that s because we make Melanie hang out with us all the time. Goats running away from people is just crazy talk. I hope everyone had fun at the fair. Melanie won t take us to the fair because she promised Birdie that she would never have to go to another goat show after she cried the whole time at the last one. But that doesn t mean that the boys and I can t go! But she s the one with the thumbs and the car keys. (Sad goat face) Well, it s time to get our peanuts and go to bed. Have fun and good grazing. Smucket
