Goal and Target Groups of Training Programme Overall Goal of Training Programm: Supporting cities and towns to develop and implement City Sanitation Plans Target groups: Decision-makers and experts at city and state level confronted with challenges of CSP development and implementation in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Maharashtra. Target group 1: Key decision-makers like Municipal Commissioners, Senior Officers from ULB and State Departments Target group 2: Elected Representatives Target group 3: Municipal Engineers at middle and operational level Slide 6

CSP Activities in Telangana until now First Training on CSP Preparation from 18-20 February 2015 After the Training ULBs were asked for following steps Formation of CSTF Notification on formation of CSTF Baseline data collection and compilation of Status Report Second Training on CSP preparation from 20-22 of May 2015 After the Training ULBs were asked to take following steps: Strengthening of Status Report Identification of Key Issues Vision formulation with CSTF Third Training on CSP preparation from 20-22 April 2016 Slide 9

Achieved Results 10 Status Reports had been submitted before and during the 2 nd Handholding Training 3 Draft CSPs have been submitted to C&DMA: Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Khammam Slide 10

Objectives of current Training Exchange on on-going processes in ULBs (Status Assessment Reports, CSTF) Review existing status assessment reports Capacitate participants in preparing the CSP in their towns and cities.
