Football Club Under 11 s Shine With the season winding down, only the non-competition age groups are still finalising their season. The Under 7 teams again enjoyed their matches with the Echidna and Kangaroo sides facing off against each other. The Under 8 Rabbits had a difficult game against Norwest, whilst the Under 8 Sharks had a bit of a return to form, despite narrowly going down to Hills Pumas. The Under 9s had a hard fought 2-2 draw against CHRSL Rockets. The Under 10s tried until the end despite losing 0-4 to North Rocks. The highlight result of the weekend was the Under 11s who put it all together for the whole game in defeating the high flying Kellyville Kolts 2-0 and reversing their 2-3 loss that they suffered to them earlier in the season. Our Ladies Over 35 fairy-tale season came to a close on Friday night when they lost their semi-final to Castle Hill United in a penalty shoot out. Netball Club Well Done Cadet 1s Round 13 kicked off on Friday night. The Under 8s had their first loss of the season going down 1-0 to Galston. The girls played to their best abilities but unfortunately, the result was not in their favour. A big thank you to some of the Junior School Sports teachers who came down and watched the under 8s play. The Under 10s had a tough game against Beecroft on Saturday. Every week these girls come to netball with a huge smile on their faces and play their hearts out! Unfortunately, the result did not go their way; they went down 20-6. The Under 12s had a great game against Beecroft. The girls lead all the way through but a late surge from Beecroft left the girls 4 goals short. The girls played really well even though they were missing one of their goal shooters (Ruby Cook). Emma Wallace and Ronav Esmaili have really improved this team and we cannot wait to see how the girls go this weekend. Under 13 3s BYE The Under 13 4s were in a tight contest with MSB. The girls had a strong game on court but unfortunately, MSB came up with the win 14-25. The girls are sitting in 5 th position and with only 1 game left they will not be able to make finals this season. The Under 14s played the top of the table MSB on Saturday. The game was tight and our girls showed great teamwork and sportsmanship until the final buzzer. Kylie Graham has pushed these girls hard this year and it has showed. The girls are sitting in 4 th place and will make the finals series. The Under 15s also played the top of the table MSB. The girls stuck with them all the way through but MSB came away with the win. The defensive duo of Maya Enahoro and Jess Flynn are a force to be reckoned with. The girls are sitting just out of the top 4 so winning this weekend is a must. Good luck girls!! The Cadet 1s WOW what a game! The girls had a ripper against Cherrybrook winning by 10 goals. The girls had to win on the weekend to secure a spot in finals. The girls had a massive support team of parents, friends and fellow Hills Grammar club players. Cherrybrook are sitting in 3 rd place, which is a massive confidence boost for our girls who we will be playing in the finals. The girls have a bye this weekend. The Cadet 2s had a tough game against Normanhurst. The girls were missing both their usual shooters, which made it very hard on the girls. This made the score blow out. The girls have their final game this weekend and we wish them the best of luck! The Cadet 5s also played MSB on Saturday. The girls played really well but MSB came up with the win. The girls are sitting in 4 th position but they must win this weekend to secure a spot in finals. If you are available to support our girls at 3:45 please come and cheer them on! Good luck girls!
