ITS - Variable Message Signs for cyclists As the first city in the world, Copenhagen has developed variable message signs exclusively for cyclists The signs provide traffic information i.e. travel times and suggestions for alternative routes to popular destinations The aim is to improve the capacity of bicycle tracks by redirecting cyclists to lesser congested corridors in peak hours.
