Family is defined as a maximum of 2 adults (18 +) with a maximum of 3 children. $2.00 per each additional child. Any support staff assisting a patron with a disability will be permitted into the facility at no charge. All children under the age of 9 must be accompanied in the water by a responsible person aged 13 or older. That person must stay within arms reach of that child at all times. To swim in the deep end without a lifejacket or PFD, a lifeguard may ask you to do a swim test which consists of jumping into the water in the deep end and swimming 25 m to the shallow end without touching the edge or bottom. Any child that is not fully potty trained needs to wear a swim diaper in the pool. Taking photographs at the facility please ask permission to take photos it is limited to only your family.

Shallow Aquafit: Waist to chest deep water you will be lead through a variety of exercises that will work your cardiovascular fitness as well as your muscular strength and endurance. Deep Water Aquafit: Participants must be comfortable in deep water to participate. With the use of an aquatic floatation belt, our instructors will lead you through a variety of exercises that will work on core strength, muscular strength and endurance. : Our pool has five lanes, designated fast, medium and leisure lanes. Equipment that is available for use during lane swim are: Flutter boards, pull buoys, flippers, and aquabelts. H2O to Go: 2 lanes are designated for this program. A swim workout is posted on the board to challenge swimmers to increase endurance, speed and coordination. Program is not for beginner swimmers. Lane/Tot Swim: 5 lanes are set up for lane swimmers. The tot pool, waterslide and hot tub are open for babies and tots to come play with their parents. : Main pool, Tot pool, Hot Tub, and Water Slide are open for the general public. All kids under the age of 9 must be accompanied by a responsible adult in the water with them. The ratio is one adult per three children under the age of 9. Family Swim: All children of any age must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. College Night: This swim is for Olds College Students only. All participants must bring their current valid student ID to participate. Did you know with your College ID you can come swimming during any of our lane swims or regular priced s without charge? Youth Programming: Mondays from 4:00-5:30. Bronze Cross is a prerequisite for all advanced training programs including National Lifeguard and Instructor certification. Includes a timed 600 m swim. Course # LS-CROSS-01 Fee: $100.00/person Pre-requisite: Bronze Medallion Bring card first day Bring your CLM Manual Red Cross Standard First Aid/CPR C Dates: March 14 & 15 2019 Times: Thursday & Friday 9:00 am -5:00 pm Comprehensive two-day course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Fitness requirements include a timed object recovery, 50 m sprint challenge, 50 m rescue drill and 400 m endurance challenge. Pre-requisite: 16 years old with Current Bronze Cross and SFA/ CPR C. Bring cards first day with proof of age. Fee: $300.00/person

Come join us for games, crafts and swimming. We ask that they be sent with a peanut free snack and swimsuit under their clothing. FEE: $15.00/child/day Pre-requisite: aged 3-6 and potty trained Lifesaving Society Junior Lifeguard Club When: Mondays Date: February 25 April 15 2019 Time: 4:00 pm -5:30 pm The Junior Lifeguard Club (JLC) offers serious fun for kids 8 years and up who can swim at least 25m and tread water for 2 minutes. The Jr. Lifeguard Club provides an action-packed challenge for kids who love the water but who want more than "lessons." Course # LS-JLC-01 Fee: $85.00 Pre-requisite: age 8 to 13 with swim kids level 7 recommended Red Cross Babysitter s Course Dates: February 20 & 21 Times: 10:00 am-4:00 pm Basic first aid and caregiving skills for youth aged 11 14 years old. Participants learn how to provide care to younger children in a variety of age groups, and how to prevent and respond to emergencies. Course also offers youth the training to promote themselves as a babysitter to prospective parents. Fee: $55.00 person Bring Lunch and Snacks Prerequisite: must be 11 Bring a doll if you have one years old by the end of the course. When: Mondays Time: 4:00-5:30 pm Youth Kayaking Dates: January 14-February 11 2019 For Who: youth aged 9-13 that can swim 50 m of the pool and tread water for 2 minutes. Fee: $60.00 Courses may be cancelled, combined or moved due to low registration one week prior to class start date. Cancellation does not guarantee you will be transferred into an appropriate class. While wearing a buoyancy belt and webbed aquatic gloves, participants will travel the full length and width of the pool in this invigorating 45-minute workout focusing on improvements to cardio health, muscular strength and endurance, range-of-motion and flexibility. Participants must be comfortable in all water depths, but needn't be swimmers. Participation by registration only - no drop-ins.
