Please park inside the pavilion gate; you need a permit to park on the black top or graveled area by entrance. Set up time is 5pm and meal at 6pm. Fish and fries will be provided. Bring your family, a dish to pass (salad, dessert or what ever you feel goes with the meal) and your beverages. Any fishing equipment you want to sell or swap, this is a good time to do it. Sign up for the 2016 Chippewa Valley Muskie League sponsored by First Wisconsin Chapter of Muskies Inc. will take place during evening. Information is further down. Annual boat launch permit for the Rod n Gun Club ramps will be available for $25. Our June, July and August summer general meeting will be held at Chippewa Rod n Gun Club Park Please park inside the pavilion gate; you need

a permit to park on the black top or graveled area by entrance. These meetings start at 5:30pm with a quick general meeting followed by a goodwill donation supper and then fishing. The meetings are open to the public, so bring a friend along. Larry Kleeba Challenge The Kleeba is a tournament of Wisconsin chapters of Muskies Inc. Milwaukee Chapter is hosting this years outing. It will be held May 21&22 on Pewaukee, Okauchee, Oconomowoc Lakes and Lac La Belle west of Milwaukee. Fishing times are May 21 st from 6am to 5pm; May 22 from 6am to 12 noon. Milwaukee Chapter will be hosting a cookout at Pewaukee Nettesheim Park May 21 at 5pm (cost of $5.00) Trophy presentation will be at Pewaukee Nettesheim Park on May 22 at 1pm. All fish must be registered no later than 12:30pm. Topwater Challunge The Topwater Challunge is a chapter outing held June 11 on Lake Holcombe. Bring your lunch and meet at Pine Point Boat Launch at noon. After some socializing we start fishing from 1pm till dark thirty with Topwater Lures. Anglers receive points for muskies caught on topwater lures. Meet at Big Minnow after dark to see how anglers did. Tournament The planning of the 40 th Annual tournament is underway. We need members help to solicit prizes. If you are purchasing a car, boat, etc. try to work a donation into the deal. Youth Program Nick Brenner, Dave Jann and Chad Harris have taken on the Youth Program committee. Their objective is to plan and search out activities to get area youth involved with the sport of fishing. Contact them if you can help out or have ideas. Membership You can renew your membership on line at www.muskiesinc.org by logging in and clicking Membership Renewal near top center of page. If you cannot log in click JOIN US button at the left of the screen. There is also and option to download and print the membership application form if you prefer to mail it in. If your membership expires you do not have access to the member section of the Muskies Inc. website until you renew. When you register your fish, you have an option at the end of the form to receive certificates and/or patches if you desire. The Chapter now has to purchase these items. The costs are- Individual release patches $1.00 each; Century Club (for 100 registered muskies) $4.00; purple bar for next 100 registered $1.00; 50 Inch Release $3.00; white star for other 50inch releases $1.00. Certificates will still be free. The Chapter will take care of up to $5.00 cost per season and you pick up the balance if you would

like to receive patches. At the end of the year I will contact you if your costs are over $5.00. Fundraising We will be selling raffle tickets for the Musky Clubs Alliance of Wisconsin boat again this year. Our chapter requests a grant of approximately 75% of ticket money we raise for our projects. Volunteers will be needed to man the sales table when we have the boat at area retail locations July 6-19. The Chapter is also selling raffle tickets for one week stay for four at Tamarack Island Wilderness Lodge on LOTW www.tamarackislandwildernesslodge.com The package includes house keeping cabin for four, does not include boat. Retail value of $2,400. There is a limit of 200 tickets available at $10.00 a piece. The drawing will be at the June 20 board meeting. Tickets will be sold at chapter meetings and events. For the year 2016 we will sell ads at a 20% discount to get an advertising base established Full price ads are as follows: Business Card, $100; 1/8 Page, $125; ¼ Page$175; ½ Page, $350; Full Page, $600. Ads are based on a yearly rate and are prorated based on when the ad is purchased. 2016 Chippewa Valley Muskie League. Sponsored by First Wisconsin Chapter of Muskies Inc. 1st Season Rules and Regulations Alex Swanson/Jason Smith: Commissioners This is a league that will take place on 17 lakes in the Chippewa Valley and is sponsored by the First Wisconsin Chapter of Muskies Inc. Starting the first Sunday of the northern Wisconsin Fishing Opener and will end the Saturday before the First Wisconsin Muskie Inc. Tournament in September. This is a partner league where teams of two score combined points throughout the season for fish over 34 caught. Points are 34"=8pts and.25pts for every 1/4" after that. Your team must come up with a team name which will be used to track points. Only your best 5 league nights will count. You may fish any night throughout the week during designated hours, but only that one night will count towards league. We will utilize a Facebook page for all communication. The Facebook page is called Chippewa Valley Muskie League. If you would like to join the league please ask to join the page, it is a closed page to those within the league. You must post on the page the night you will be fishing before you fish. Every Sunday morning a kitchen or garage tool will be updated and all fish caught that week must have that item in the picture. You must post a picture holding the fish with the tool and a picture of the fish on a bump board, also with the tool. All pictures must be posted 24 hours after you have fished. The cost is $10 per member, the winning team will win CVML shirts at the end of the season and excess funds will be used to buy prizes/lures that will be given to teams which catch a muskie during the league. The prizes will be given out at the annual First Wisconsin Muskies Inc. Banquet in January. You do not have to be a Muskie Inc. member to fish league but you are always welcome to join! Saturday September 10th-Official last day of 2016 league

Detailed League Rules 1.A team league with the same partner every week. 2.You have 7 days a week to pick your one evening to try to score team points. Start Sunday and end Saturday every week. 3.Your best 5 nights during the season count, once you get 5 scoring evenings, you can only improve upon previous nights. 4. Hours will be posted on this page and the Facebook page but basicly 5pm-10pm, 5-9:30, 5-9pm as season goes on. 5. Starts first Sunday of the northern Wisconsin season opener. Ends Saturday September 10th, the week before the Muskies Inc Fall Tournament. 6. You have 24hrs to post your bump board and angler photo on this FB group page. You DONT need to name your lake. 7. Every Sunday morning a kitchen or garage tool will be listed on this page and the Facebook page. You must put that item next to the fish on the bump board. 8. You can fish all 17waters listed in the First Wisconsin Muskies Inc. Fall tourney. See that website for boundary rules and list of waters. http://www.firstwimuskiesinc.org/tourney.cfm 9. Only fish 34" or better count. Points are 34"=8pts and.25pts for every 1/4" after that. 10. You don't need to be a First Wisconsin chapter muskies inc member to be apart of league. But you re always welcome to join. 11. Winning team gets CVML matching shirts. 12. All extra funds will be used to buy prizes/lures to be handed out in a drawing at First Wi Muskies inc banquet in January to those teams that caught muskies during the year. 13.There will be outings where league members can meet each other.. Details to come 14. Your team points will be listed by your team name. "Team Toothy chasers"... Ect 15. You team must post on the Facebook page prior to the evening you pick during the week. Letting all other teams know what night you pick to fish. 16. If a team has a third person (friend/family member) who wishes to fish with the team during league hours they may fish but any fish caught by them will not count towards the team points. 17.
