Pembina Pipeline Corporation Resthaven January 25, 2016 Pembina Pipeline Resthaven Phase II Expansion Project re: Safety Boss Safety Personnel/Equipment Supplier To Whom It May Concern: Safety Boss was awarded the Resthaven Safety contract for the supply of gas monitoring, confined space watch personnel and air trailer/gas monitoring equipment in August 2015 after a different safety company proved they could not supply the expertise to meet our needs. Our project averages about 20-25 personnel daily, working a 14/7 shift. The project expects completion in early Q2 2016. From Safety Boss s very first day on site, they proved that awarding the contract to them was a good choice and the right decision. Our Construction Management Team has been thoroughly impressed with the knowledge, professionalism and level of customer service that Safety Boss has brought. On top of the quality service they provide, we have found Safety Boss s pricing to be very fair and competitive. Prior to arriving on site, Safety Boss invested, at their own cost, a multi-day training program with all their workers to teach them about our site, our requirements, learnings from the previous contractor and the specialty equipment they would be using at site. Our project is being executed within an operating plant (Brownfield) so the expectations of safety personnel is quite high. At Resthaven, we have different monitoring requirements based on the area of the plant work is occurring, Safety Boss is required to keep separate active pump monitors calibrated to 3 different flammable gases: methane; propane; and pentane. When their crew arrived on site, they exhibited the knowledge and commitment to gas monitoring requirements well above that expected. It is reassuring when I tour the site and quiz the Safety Boss workers about the rationale behind the different calibration gases, risks in their work areas, work being executed and receive knowledgeable answers. Subsequent to the contract award, with Safety Boss s support, we have overcome some pretty significant roadblocks. After unexpectedly discovering liquid Mercury inside a tower during a turnaround re-tray job, we were shutdown until we could develop procedures, protocols and secure expertise/equipment to do the job safely. Safety Boss found a hygienist who specialized in Mercury exposure, secured all the monitoring equipment we needed and helped us develop the procedures required to execute our scope; this was quite an achievement, given that it was all accomplished over the course of a weekend. We couldn t have done it without Mark Brown s (Safety Boss President) support and contacts. I definitely recommend Safety Boss, they are leaders on our site and they have proven to be a service provider that requires little management effort. If you have any questions regarding Safety Boss or their performance, please call me at 403.809.8780. Yours Truly,

Dave Collin Construction Team Lead Pembina Pipelines Pembina Pipeline Corporation Resthaven

SIEMENS To Whom It May Concern, I have had the pleasure of working with Safety Boss for the last year and a half Over this period of time I have come to know Safety Boss' ethics and morals to ensure that our employees, contractors and sub contractors are taken care of Safety Boss is enthusiastic and extremely helpful. Safety Boss' involvement with trades at the Siemens Sunnybrook/Crossings sites has been noticed and well received. This is an excellent example of their commitment and dedication to the project I have enjoyed interesting conversations with all Safety Boss personnel that have worked here at our WA TL sites. Safety Boss' strong communication skills and attention to other people and current events were clearly evident Safety Boss has helped out in whatever way possible and on occasion even voiced opinions on behalf of Siemens and their professional manner never fails to impress. Safety Boss has proved to be both willing and competent in their roles. It is with confidence that I recommend Safety Boss for any EMT/EMT-P /confined space rescue services. I have no doubt that they will prove an asset to any organization. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely, OSBORNE ANNE slgnodbyosborne ON: cn-os80rne ANNE. o

Veresen Inc. Box 155 Tel (780) 356-6140 Hythe, Alberta Fax (780) 356-6145 T0H 2C0 www.vereseninc.com Letter of Reference December 16, 2014 To whom it may concern: Safety is a key focus of any project or routine daily tasks, I have had the opportunity to work closely with Safety Boss over the last two years on large facility maintenance turnaround projects as well as smaller routine jobs and they have exceeded expectations every time. I first had the opportunity to work with Safety Boss during a May 2013 facility maintenance turnaround at the Hythe Brainard Sour Gas Plant. This project saw more than one thousand workers on site with approximately eighty thousand man-hours worked in a sixteen day period without a lost time incident. The project included high risk tasks such high angle work, eighty confined space entries and critical lifts. The Safety Boss team was involved right from the planning phase and delivered efficient well trained and professional staff. Without the services of Safety Boss this project would not have been completed on time or on budget. Most recently I had the opportunity to work with Safety Boss again during the June 2014 Steeprock Gas Plant maintenance turnaround. Once again Safety Boss was involved from the planning phase through completion of the project. This project saw approximately five hundred personnel on site with sixty five thousand man-hours completed without a lost time incident. This project also included critical lifts, confined space entries and high angle work. Safety Boss once again delivered a professional and efficient team and top notch equipment. The ability of the day and night shift leads to understand the project schedule and manage personnel greatly facilitated another successful project. I would recommend working with Neil and his Safety Boss team for anyone who is undertaking any project. Regards, David Larson Veresen Inc. EH&S Advisor, Midstream dlarson@vereseninc.com
