After serving 2 years in the military, he graduated with a Masters degree in Soil Science. Due to his passion for hunting, he made it his career in 1994. Anso Thormählen - Director / Financial matters & administration Anso was born in South Africa. After completing school, she met Peter at university while studying a degree in accounting. They have been married for 27 years and have 3 children: Liane, Hermann and Heike. Anso s portfolio includes all the administration, finances, communication, marketing and inquiries of clients and prospective clients of T&C. carel alberts - Big Game Professional Hunter Carel was born in the Western Cape Province of South Africa and relocated with his parents to Namibia. His love and interest in nature, and later hunting, was fostered by his dad, a nature conservationist. Carel is the senior professional hunter in Namibia. He guided several safaris in the most remote areas of Namibia with great success. mario tinkler - Big Game Professional Hunter Mario was born and raised in the Free State Province of South Africa. He started an apprenticeship with Johan Calitz of Calitz Safaris in 2005. Mario obtained his dangerous game license in 2010 and started hunting big game, especially elephant - in Botswana and Mozambique. Mario is our senior professional hunter of our team in South Africa and his 14 years of experience will guide you safely through the safari. Abiliu Huhuilepo - Big Game Professional Hunter Abiliu, a Namibian and the father of Ambrosius, has extensive big game hunting experience in Namibia. He is familiar with hunting in the free ranged concessions of Namibia. Abiliu s ability to remain calm and achieving every goal, makes him a big asset to our team. AMBROSIUS HUHUILEPO - Operations Manager / Professional Hunter Ambrosius is a Namibian citizen and joined our team end of 2009. He is a qualified hunter with extensive knowledge of his country, its people and hunting. His duties also include the interaction with the permit office, driving the airport shutte and guiding tours. Ambro is a very important link in our business and his patience, perseverance, and friendly personality is a key factor to our success. Nelson Nel - Professional Hunter Nelson was born in Walvisbay, Namibia and spend his childhood days in the Kamanjab and Outjo area. He always had a passion for nature, and his positive attitude and enthusiasm with every safari is an example to all. JF de Koker - Professional Hunter JF was born in Potchefstroom, South Africa, and grew up on a cattle ranch in the district. He started hunting at the age of 6 and fell in love with the outdoors. After completing his Tourism & Geography degree JF started a professional hunting career in 2010 and joined Thormählen & Cochran Safaris in 2014. BRINK GROBLER - Professional Hunter Brink was born in the north of Namibia and always wanted to become a hunter. He started hunting in 2008 and for two years he was employed by a game lodge in Namibia. Brink joined us in 2014 and is a perfectionist in what he does. We are fortunate to have him in our team. Abby Katjimune - General Camp Manageress Abby, a native of Namibia, joined our Namibian operation in 2010. Abby is responsible for the management of the various tented camps in Namibia. She trained several camp staff and in the most difficult circumstances, improving the high standard of all the camp operations. We are very proud of her.
