Arrangements should be made with hosts to pick up teams either at Pettisville School or at the Back Bay. 7:50 pm Staff will meet in the gym directly following the final match for a time of feedback and reflection before heading to the Back Bay. Sunday Schedule: 9:00 11:00am Everyone assembles in the Gym for the final quiz matches, presentation of awards, and for a worship service. Tournament Explanation: Each team will begin the day by quizzing in a placement round, which determines team placement in the double elimination tournament. From this round all teams, win or lose, move on to the double elimination tournament. The double elimination tournament will flow in a normal fashion. Winning teams progress through the tournament. Following the first loss, teams move to the right side of the double elimination tournament brackets. The winners of the double elimination tournament will be the overall winners of the 2013 tournament. Following the second loss in the double elimination brackets, most teams move on to one of the smaller single elimination brackets. The staff in each room will have information about the time and location of your next match. When you complete a match, ask the staff in the quizzing room for the information about your next match. The staff will also give a slip of paper to the winners of the match that will need to be delivered to the big board in the Atrium.

Building Use Instructions: Except for bottled water, there is to be NO food or drinks anywhere in the building, other than in the Cafeteria. Snacks throughout the day would be available at Sunday s Market (open until 6pm), Pettisville Meats (open until 1pm), and Stella Leona Chocolates (open until noon). All are a short walk down the street west of the school. (The school has allowed us to provide drinks and snacks in the rooms for the staff only.) When arriving or leaving the tournament, as well as during the day, please stay on the paved areas of the property. This will help to keep the amount of dirt brought into the building to a minimum. When in classrooms, please do not disturb items in or on desks, or bookshelves. Please help us to leave the rooms in the same condition in which we found them. The Jr High gym will be open for basketball and games. Only very clean gym shoes or stocking feet are to be used on the floor of the gym. Please do not wear street shoes when participating in activities in the gym. The cafeteria will be setup with tables and chairs. This is a good area to sit and relax. Please be courteous of those quizzing. Please keep talking and noise to a minimum in hallways, so that we do not disturb those that are quizzing. Please do not attempt to enter a quiz room, except during a timeout, or at the end of the match. First aid supplies are located at the information table in the Atrium. Meals: There are meal tickets provided in each team packet for lunch and dinner. Please bring these with you at meal times. Extra people who do not have meal tickets are welcome to leave a free will donation in the basket provided for the tickets. Meals will be served in the cafeteria. All food and drinks should remain in those areas. Please allow staff to move to the front of the line, since they have a shorter meal time. Thanks for your help in making this tournament a memorable one for all!!
