2017 Season Highlights Varsity had an incredible season advancing to the Final Four for the first time in school history! We ended our season with a 31-13 record with huge wins over Lassiter, Johns Creek, Norcross, and Camden County. Many of our players went on to earn All Region Honors and All State Honors All State: Jordyn Moellering and Ally Hall First Team All Area: Jordyn Moellering, Kendal Barrett, and Ally Hall Second Team All Area: Madeleine Bertz and Amanda Sinning Area Defensive Player of the Year: Jordyn Moellering Area Freshman of the Year- Ally Hall JV had an amazing record breaking season with a first place area finish! Our awesome freshmen team led the area all season and finished 2 nd in the area tournament!
. Spring Training for Tryouts If you are not currently playing club ball or you need a more competitive edge, we highly suggest that you attend training sessions at area gyms. Volley Performance Train for Tryouts: April 8 th, 15 th, 22 nd, and 29 th. See the Volley Performance website to register Suwanee Sports Academy Train for Tryouts: May 1 st through 3 rd Cost is $175 See the SSA website to register. Physical Night at Lambert -May 3rd 4:00-6:00 $20 (all athletes must have a current physical on file in order to try out and you must be registered through Privit as well. Please see handout for Privit instructions)
Spring Try Outs Friday, May 5th 4:00-6:00 Varsity and Underclassmen Invites 6:30-8:30 Rising Freshmen and JV Saturday, May 6th 10:00-12:00 Rising Freshmen and JV 12:30-2:00 Varsity and Underclassmen Invites ***Teams will be determined by 5:00 Saturday*** You must have a current physical on file with Privit in order to try out. Mandatory Parent Commitment Meeting Sunday, May 7th at 5:00 in the Gym. The season informational packet and parent duty calendar will be given at this time. Uniforms, practice gear, and spirit wear will be ordered as well. ½ dues ($350) will be collected as well.
2017 Summer Training Begins the week of June 6th through July 20th Cost $100 due June 6 th on the first day. All players Varsity, JV, and freshmen are expected to attend. (no training the week of June 19 th due to AAU s and the week of July 4 th due to Dead Week). Strength and Conditioning Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00-9:30. Training will consist of sport specific training including plyometric training, speed and agility, core training, and weight training Please see Lambert Volleyball Training Expectations in your packet to know how to prepare! Open Gym Wednesdays 8:00-9:30
Summer Camps Lambert Youth Camp- May 30 th -June 2 nd Lambert Camp May 30 th June 2nd for ages 9-14. Camp hours are from 10-1:00. Returning varsity players are expected to serve as coaches for this camp. Cost is $125. This is a time to give back to the community! Chuck Crawford Mini Clinic- July 10-11 th (tentative) This mini clinic is for Varsity Players and JV invites. More information to come. Auburn Team Camp-July 12-15 Team Camp is July 12-15 $380 We will be taking all three teams. Registration forms will be given at the parent commitment meeting after tryouts. Registration form, medical release form and money are due at the end of June/early July.
Important Dates Put these on your Calendar & plan Accordingly Please! ** Aug. 26th -Varsity All City Playdate Tourney which is an SAT Date **Sept. 8-9 Varsity Louisville Tourney which is an ACT Date **Sept. 23 rd : Freshman and JV Area Tournaments (first Saturday of Fall Break) Varsity will have Friday, Sept. 22-Tuesday, Sept 26 th OFF. We WILL have practice and matches the rest of the week.
Junior Longhorns Director: Jazmine Washington Junior Longhorn is a developmental middle school volleyball team. Athletes grades 6 th -8 th who are districted to attend Lambert for High school are eligible to try out. Try-Outs will be held on Saturday, August 5 th. All Junior Longhorns are encouraged to attend our Lambert Youth Camp in the summer. Information is on our website. Registration will be available at our Middle School Open Houses in August.

Parents will be assigned duties to work concessions, gate, and participate in game day responsibilities. Calendars will be given at Commitment Night with assigned duties.
