SPACKENKILL GYM PRACTICES: A reminder that when any team has practice at our Spackenkill Gym, we will bring Team members to the gym from FCA on FCA vans. Parents can pick up at our Spackenkill gym or at FCA. We will be back at FCA 20 minutes after the scheduled end time for that practice. 2. When you click on a game, details and the address for the game is also included. The website will also have pictures and weekly highlights and schedule changes. 3. INTRAMURAL BASKETBALL: For grades 3-5. We will practice one day per week on a Wednesday or a Thursday from
3:30-5PM. We will play 4-6 games. PRACTICE WILL BE TUESDAY WITH A GAME ON WEDNESDAY THIS WEEK. Practice this Wednesday will be at our Spackenkill Gym. Team members will get dressed at dismissal and will meet in the Art Room. We will bring the team to our Spackenkill Campus Gym in an FCA van. Parents may pick up at our Spackenkill gym at 5:00PM or at FCA at 5:20PM. 4. WINTER SPORTS PARTICIPATION FEES will be billed on our FCA FACTS system after January 7. The Athletic participation fee is $85 for each season. The fee is $50 for Intramural sports. 5. FAN CLOTH LAST CHANCE SALE HAS ENDED: The Fancloth Last Chance sale has ended. All items will be shipped later this week. We will be handing items out to those who ordered items during the week of January 14-20. 6. Catamount evening lift ticket is $33 for 14 and under, and $36 for over 14. Evening rentals at Catamount are $30 for junior 14 and under and $36 for over 14. 9. INTRAMURAL Game Vs. the Town of Pleasant Valley Team Wednesday, January 9 at FCA at 6:00PM. This is a grades 3-4 game. Team members can go home after school and come back at 5:30PM or can stay at FCA until the game. Team members who stay at FCA will stay in the Art Room and can also watch the Boys Varsity Game in the gym. Team members who stay at FCA should bring snacks/food. Uniform shirts will be given out on Tuesday. Please wear navy blue shorts. Grades 5-6 Game Vs. the Town of Pleasant Valley Team Thursday, January 10 at the Arthur S May School which is the former Arlington Middle School At 6:15PM / 5:00PM Van. This is a grades 5-6 game. Our 6 th graders who also play on JV will also play in this game. Team members will stay at FCA in the Art Room or can watch the Varsity Girls Game before we leave for the game at 5PM. Parents can pick up team members after the game at the Arthur S May School at 7PM or at FCA at approximately 7:20PM. Feb. 20 at Tarsio lanes hosted by Storm King FCA, New York Military Academy and Storm King will compete in all 6 matches. ALL MATCHES ARE ON WEDNESDAYS. HOME MATCHES START AT 3:30PM. AWAY MATCHES START AT 4PM. WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS: Our Winter season has started very well in December. Our Girls Varsity team is 6-2 so far this season and is 2-1 in the MHCAL (Christian League) and is 4-1 in the HVAL. Our Boys Varsity defeated the Dutchess County Homeschoolers before the Christmas break. The team is 3-0 in the MHCAL (Christian League and is 4-3 overall). Our Boys Varsity team is in first place in the Christian league. Our JV Boys/Middle School team defeated Upton Lake Christian School before the Christmas break and is 3-0 so far this season in the MHCAL and 3-1 ovreall. Our Girls JV/Middle School Team defeated the Town of Pleasant Valley Middle School team before the Christmas break to start their season 3-0. Our Cheerleading Team has been cheering for both Girls and Boys Varsity Games.
