EVENT VENUE XV World Ice Fishing Championship will take place in Karaganda region, Temirtau city. The official fishing ground for the WIFC will be lake Samarkandskoye. The surface area of Samarkandskoye is 82 sq. km and the average depth is about 12 meters. The deepest spot is from 3 till 10 meters.
