We are planning an awesome Bake Sale for Election Day Tuesday November 6th. Our Kindergarten Garden really needs a facelift; other outdoor areas need work as well. We hope to raise a lot of money for our outdoor areas. Please help us organize and run this fundraising event. We will set up tables on the front porch to sell bake goods; we hope to ask Election Day visitors for donations for our pre-packaged baked goods. YOU can help in the following ways: Baking and delivering any of the following on Monday morning, November 5th: cookies, brownies, blondies, macaroons, scones, mini muffins, muffins, cake pops, sweet rolls, or kolaches; Please no cupcakes. Packing during the day - Monday, November 5th. Staffing the tables on Election Day. Voting opens at 7 am and closes at 7 pm. If you are available early, late, or during the day please let me know. Kolter will provide one set of documents; please make additional copies as needed. 2012 International Night Is Almost Here! Kolter's International Night Is Next Week! Third Graders Put it In the Net At Elite Level Friendship Soccer Tourney Seven Kolter third graders led the Westbury Wolves Soccer Team to an outstanding finish as runners-up in the Missouri City United Soccer Association Friendship Soccer Tournament on Sunday, October 14th. One of the area's largest soccer events, the Friendship Tournament hosts highly competitive teams from around the Houston area. Starting players from Kolter include Drew Cohen and Chris Jacinto from Ms Grimm s class, Braylon Ferguson from Ms Hiller s class, Max Hueske from Ms Gardner s class, and Philip Paczkowski, and Rishi Venkateswaran from Ms Henderson s class. Will Doyle-Madrid from Ms Hiller s class also contributed as a substitute player. All players helped to earn the Wolves' 14 goals and three of four wins en route to a spectacular finish. Way to go guys; you make us Kolter Cougar proud! it is time for the final sprint as we head toward the PTO Membership drive finish line! If you haven't made your membership pledge yet, it is not too late to help us reach our goal.
