Space Coast Vettes On the Avenue Member Participation: Hi SCCC Members! This is our biggest event with Honor Flight as our beneficiary - a very worthy cause. Hoping for full SCCC Member participation for the 2017 event! It is asked this year that each member family donate a completed basket for the raffle. Keep the Florida Sunshine in mind when creating your basket...it s best to shy away from ingredients such as chocolate, wines, and the like things that melt and explode in the heat. Be creative, have fun, and think of things you would bid on in a raffle! It s about the fundrai$ing for Honor Flight! See you there! http://www.newenglandeatery.com/ Sep 9: Vettes at the Beach Car Show The Miracle Strip Corvette Club is hosting their 15th Annual Car Show at the Casino Beach Parking Lot in Pensacola Beach. The activities start on Friday September 8th with Pre- Registration and Dinner at Hemingway's Bimini Beach Bar. Registration is $35 until August 10th, and $45 after that. This includes dinner for two on Friday night and a dash plaque. Please visit http://spacecoastvettes.com/ for the flyer. Oct 21: Vettes on the Avenue Space Coast Corvette Club s Biggest Event! Space Coast Vettes' 15th Annual Vettes on the Avenue Show will be held Saturday October 21st in Historic Downtown Melbourne. Proceeds will benefit the Space Coast Honor Flight. Pre-registration is $30, $35 day of the show. Award Ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Please join us for a fun Corvette day while supporting a very worthy case. You can download the Flyer from here. Minutes June 4, 2017 Paul called the meeting to order. 50/50 collected by John & Fay Ziegler Introduction of Visitors George introduced Ken with a white 2017 Secretary Report A motion was made by Don and seconded by Teri to accept the minutes as posted on the web and in the newsletter Treasurer s Report Pay Mike $10 per person tonight for July BBQ Governor s Report Jim reported on minor changes to our Constitution. Webmaster s Report Frank reported web is updated and will have new membership information soon. Go on website to review old and new constitution. Officer At Large John out due to surgery. Newsletter Denise would like every member to send her a picture of you and your spouse with your car. Competition Director s Report Don reported up-coming events then said see website for dates and information on upcoming shows. Saint Augustine show will be November 18. If interested in staying at Comfort Inn, the number is 1-480-568-6713 and ask for Space Coast Corvette reservation. Social Activities Tom will send out email. Parades Great turn out for the Memorial Day Parade, 23 cars and a great lunch at Meg s. New Business July 2nd BBQ, election of officers for next year and we need every member to participate in our October 21 car show. Our November meeting will be held on November 12 th.
