Happy Anniversary SNMHOG Chapter 1610 Ed and Sandy Monica let us know at the meeting they will step down from their positions after this month. Ed has been a great asset to the Chapter in the Officer roles he has held. Sandy has taken the LOH Officer position to new levels. We will definitely miss them not being in those positions. Thank you for your many untiring volunteer hours you gave to the Chapter. When you see Ed and Sandy, please let them know how much they are appreciated. We want to liven up the August meeting with some fun that will involve everybody in attendance. Please come out and participate. Our new web page is up. Please let us know what you think. Contact Assistant Director Henry/Wiley E for thoughts and ideas. Thank you to our webmaster Eddie for getting this done for us. As you rack up the miles on all the rides you go on please take a moment to update your mileage at the dealership. Please keep in mind to help/support the Blood drive at the Dealership this month. Check our Chapter calendar for details at snmhog.com. Hope everyone has a HOGstatic month!!!! Accept the Challenge/Let's Ride Chuck/Fuzzy Director SNMHOG Chapter 1610 SNM H.O.G. Be prepared for weather changes. Hydrate, check tires for tread depth. Make sure to maintenance your bike. Thank you Pat Behling for teaching the Accident Scene Management class. Those that attended found it very informative and educational. Knowledge of what to do in the event there is an emergency can save a life. Thank you for your time Pat! Andy with photography is planning a photoshoot by Cowboy boot store off of El Paseo. There is mural he suggested would be a nice. He and Rodney had an idea of taking photos with the Oregon Mountains as the backdrop. More information as it develops. This is a State police escorted event. Rodney our Head RC would like any one with ride ideas to share them with him. Looking at a full moon ride and the 4-H Club coming up 8/24-8/26 more information as it gets closer. If you can please come out and support these awesome young adults not only can you meet awesome people but put up to 1,000 miles on your bike. A few of us attended the HOG Rally in Albuquerque last weekend. I am sure I speak for all that attended that the Rally itself was poor planning and there were no vendors or much at all going on. There was music and a few food trucks and restrooms. BUT! The rides that the Turquoise Trail had were awesome. The one Henry and I did through Santa Fe and Taos, and the one to Madrid some of our other HOG family went on, was great. Well worth the trip. That is what it was all about and the people we met were very nice and laughs were shared. Pins and certificates were handed out. King Edward is resigning as editor and Sandy aka Sidekick is resigning as LOH Officer. If anyone is interested in either of these positions please contact Chuck or Henry. Thank you Ed and Sandy for the time and years you have put into the Chapter we appreciate you!! Congratulations to the Door Prize winners: Orlando, Leslie, Mike G., Jodee x2, King Edward, Hilario, Mike D., Dominic, Ryan Korpi, Donald Young, Alfred, Doc!!!!! Have a wonderful week ride safe and hydrate!!!! BeepBeep
