After the parade, there will be a short pep rally and presentation of the Homecoming candidates on the football field. Thursday, October 6th Dress-up for school: Prep for game day (preppy) Friday, October 7th Dress up for school: Olympic Game Day Theme for Game: The Olympics Football game (Beechwood Tigers vs. Bellevue Tigers) @ Beechwood @ 7:30 pm Presentation of the 2016 Homecoming King and Queen and their court at halftime. Homecoming Dance (informal) in the Beechwood cafeteria immediately following the game until 12:00 am. (Dance is for Grades 9-12 ONLY)
SUPER IMPORTANT INFORMATION MESSAGE FROM MR. ASHLEY Beechwood Family, It is hard to believe that we are in October!! I would like to thank our amazing PTSA for organizing and pulling off another fantastic Tiger Trail this past Saturday. It was a great turn out and very successful morning. Just a reminder that our sixth grade will be in Washington D.C. Oct 4-7 th. Michelle White and the other teachers are excited to experience this trip with over 110 students. I will be on the trip this year as well, so please contact the front office or Tonya Brummer (Assistant Principal) all week with any questions you might have. Teachers are working hard and students are off to a great start as well. All of our programs and classes are in full swing and the atmosphere is super positive and we are all growing each day. First quarter will be over before you know it, and please remember Parent conferences will be Nov. 7 th from 12-7pm. Let s make it a great week! Principal Ashley Important Carpool Reminders In order to clear Beechwood Road in a timely manner please follow the guidelines below for arrival and dismissal: Always pull up as far as you can in the car line Stay in your car Place car seat on the curb side of the car Walk your bike and scooter in cross walks and on school grounds There is absolutely no dropping off or picking up on Beechwood Road. Please pass this information on to grandparents or anyone who is picking up in the carpool line. Super Happenings Beechwood ST LP Group Any students in grades 4-6 who are interested in being creative and using technology should attend a short introductory meeting next Monday-October 3 rd. STLP stands for Student Technology Leadership Program and this groups meets regularly on Mondays right after school. To find out more come to the short meeting starting at 3:05 in room 308 in the high school. Applications and activities will be discussed at this first meeting.
