PREVIEW : EA GUINGAMP - OLYMPIQUE LYONNAIS Feature Preview Olympique Lyonnais will look to French international forwards Alexandre Lacazette and Nabil Fekir for inspiration as they seek to revive their title challenge at Guingamp on Saturday afternoon. Lacazette, like Samuel Umtiti and Henri Bedimo, missed the shock 2-1 loss at home to Nice prior to the international break through suspension, a defeat which contributed to OL losing the top position in the table they'd held since Week 20. When Lacazette and Fekir have started together, OL have managed an incredible 2.42 points per game and the duo's revived association cannot come quickly enough for the seven-time champions. Lacazette heads to Brittany with his confidence high after netting his first international goal in the 2-0 friendly win over Denmark in Saint-Etienne last Sunday. Fekir came on as a sub there, winning his second international cap following his debut in the 3-1 defeat at the hands of Brazil three days earlier. OL coach Hubert Fournier - who had two spells at Guingamp in his playing career - hopes the feel-good factor will spill over into domestic football for both players. He said: "They've come back fully fit and feeling great. Nabil got a huge boost from his first international cap and Alex is very happy to after his first goal for Les Bleus. That they performed well gives them ideas and they know that to continue to figure at international level they need to do well at club level. Of course that lifts the level of the squad as a whole." The internationals didn't bring only good news to Lyon, however, with Christophe Jallet stretchered off against Denmark and ruled out for a month with a shoulder injury. Jallet joins fellow French internationals Maxime Gonalons and Yoann Gourcuff (both hamstring) on the sidelines, although club captain Gonalons is back in light training. Saturday could also see long-awaited returns for Clément Grenier and Gueïda Fofana after groin and ankle injuries respectively. Milan Bisevac is a long-term absente after knee surgery in early February. A win against Guingamp and OL will be two points clear of champions Paris Saint-Germain and a further two in front of Olympique de Marseille ahead of Sunday evening's Le Classique between the club's principal title rivals at the Stade Vélodrome. Fournier said: "If we manage to get a result against Guingamp, which is what we're focusing on, then we'll be able to watch the game between Marseille and Paris more attentively and more serenely. It will be a good test for both of them and a very intense match. We used up a lot of energy when we played both clubs." Guingamp's league form has picked up again after a slump with Jocelyn Gourvennec's side managing four points from their last two games. The Coupe de France holders have a semi-final at Ligue 2 club Auxerre on Tuesday evening, an enticing encounter which could influence team selection. Benjamin Angoua is definitely out, serving the third game of his four-match ban but Jérémy Pied is available after a ban to take on the club where he spent 10 years as a youngster. "I still talk to some of the staff and players on the phone," Pied said of his continued relationship with his boyhood club. "I learned my trade there, so of course I have a special relationship with OL. I'm very grateful to them for everything they taught me, but now we have in front of us a match like any other. It'll be nice to see some old friends before and after the match, but for 90 minutes the main thing will be to go out there and get the win." 04/02/2015 Ligue de Football Professionnel - 2014/2015 - Ligue1.com 2

Pied has never featured on the winning side against Lyon since leaving the club. EA Guingamp - Founded in 1912, En Avant Guingamp have never won Ligue 1, but claimed an upset Coupe de France final win 2-0 over Brittany rivals Rennes in 2013-14, repeating their feat of 2009-10 when the then-ligue 2 side won their first national trophy and earning a Europa League group-stage berth in 2014-15. - Guingamp's Coupe de France win also saw them pitted against PSG in season curtain-raiser the Trophée des Champions, where Gourvennec's men lost out 2-0 to a Zlatan Ibrahimovic brace in Beijing on August 2. - Guingamp's home stadium is the Stade du Roudourou, an 18,000-capacity ground the club moved to when they turned professional in 1990. - Coach Jocelyn Gourvennec replaced former boss Victor Zvunka on May 17, 2010, taking the club from the National (D3) to Ligue 2 in 2010-11 before securing promotion to Ligue 1 last season. - Last season Guingamp clinched a 16th-placed finish in their return to Ligue 1, equal on points with Montpellier (15th) and Nice (17th). They were eliminated 2-1 by at home to Evian in the round of 32 of the Coupe de la Ligue and beat Monaco 3-1 (a.e.t.) in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France. - Guingamp's best Ligue 1 finish is seventh (2002-03). Their Intertoto Cup win in 1996-97 saw them make their UEFA Cup/Europa League debut, where they were eliminated by Inter Milan in the round of 64. Their Coupe de France win earned them a play-off place in the 2009-10 Europa League, where they were beaten 8-2 on aggregate by Hamburg SV. - Mali international Mustapha Yatabaré top-scored for the club last season with 11 Ligue 1 strikes (19 in all comps); Fatih Atik topped the assists chart with four. - Notable former players include Didier Drogba, Florent Malouda, Cédric Carrasso, Laurent Koscielny, Vincent Candela and Stéphane Guivarc'h. 04/02/2015 Ligue de Football Professionnel - 2014/2015 - Ligue1.com 6

Olympique Lyonnais - Founded in 1950, Lyon had only won three Coupes de France (1964, '67 and '73) and a Coupe de la Ligue (2001) before their unprecedented run of seven successive Ligue 1 titles from 2002 to 2008, also winning the Coupe de France '08. They have only added a single Coupe de France success (2012) since, though. - OL finished fifth in 2013-14, qualifying for the third qualifying round of the Europa League in Rémi Garde's final season. Last season marked just the second time Les Gones had failed to finish on the podium since coming sixth in 1997-98. - Alexandre Lacazette top-scored with 15 goals - the third-highest individual tally in Ligue 1, while Henri Bedimo notched a team-high 10 assists. - OL play at the Stade Municipal de Gerland, but work has already started on the club's new home, the 61,000-capacity Stade des Lumières, which is due to be completed in 2015. It is one of 12 venues hosting matches at EURO 2016. - Hubert Fournier arrives after guiding Stade de Reims to 11th in 2013-14. A defender for OL 1998-2000, Fournier also had spells at FC Rouen, En Avant Guingamp (twice) and Borussia Mönchengladbach. Appointed manager of Reims in 2010, he guided them to 10th in Ligue 2 and a Coupe de France quarter-final in his first season. 2011-12 saw Reims return to Ligue 1 after a 33-year hiatus after finishing runner up to AS Monaco. - Notable former Lyon players include Bernard Lacombe, who also coached the club and now acts as special advisor to president Jean-Michel Aulas, ex-france coach Raymond Domenech, who also took charge of the first team 1988-1993, Sonny Anderson, Juninho Pernambucano, Florent Malouda, Karim Benzema and Eric Abidal. 04/02/2015 Ligue de Football Professionnel - 2014/2015 - Ligue1.com 7
