2017 Mini Handball Exhibition & Tournament The Team Handball season is well underway. EMP will once again be sending teams to the Mini Handball Provincial Festival at the Lillian Osborne High School and to prepare for this we will be going to Ecole Father Jan for some exhibition games. The EXHIBITION GAME details are as follows: Date: Grades 3-4 - Monday, November 6 (Team SPURS & Team RAPTORS ) Grades 3-4 - Tuesday, November 7 (Team NETS & Team KNICKS ) Grades 5-6 - Wednesday AND Thursday, November 8th & 9th ( both teams ) Time: all games are 4pm - 5:30 pm Location: Fees: Ecole Father Jan Gymnasium (15 Mission Avenue) There are no fees for these exhibition games. Categories: - Grade 3/4 and 5/6. Each team must have at least one player from a lower grade and as well one girl must always be on the court. NOTE: Students are expected to have their own rides to and from Ecole Father Jan and players MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Additional Info: 1. Schedule is attached, Grade 5/6 do not start till just after 2:00pm, 2. Games are 2x10min and 1 min half time. 3. If a game ends in a tie, it will go to golden goal 4. Court A, B will be in the main gym, and Court C will be in the 2 nd gym that Lillian has, Grade ¾ Only 1 st Place team in each pool will move on. Pool 4, after Round Robin 3 rd place will play 4 th place and 1 st place will play 2 nd place and winner of 1 st place vs 2 nd place will move on as the 1 st place team in Pool 4 Top 3 team will receive medals, with winning team receiving Banner and 2 nd and 3 rd place receiving a plaque Grade 5/6 1. Top 2 teams in each pool move on. Then Final and Bronze 2. For placement games when it says best 4 th place team that will go by team that has allowed the least amount of goals in Pool play, if that is tied it will go to Goals for. 3. Top 3 team will receive medals, with winning team receiving Banner and 2 nd and 3 rd place receiving a plaque Lunch 1.
