CHAIRPERSON S REPORT FREDA HUTCHISON Welcome to the 2014 AGM for Netball Scotland What an amazing year we have had at Netball Scotland! Again, we have been kept exceptionally busy with continuous developments and with numerous events at local, national and international levels and of course, the Commonwealth Games. A challenging but very rewarding netball season. Our Awards Dinner in November 2013 was a huge success again, not only due to the meticulous planning and superb organization that went into it, but also due to the sheer enthusiasm of our members! Our Patron, Katherine Grainger, really engaged positively with our guests, and in particular with our members, who attended the ceremony. She told me afterwards I haven t witnessed such an enthusiastic and committed bunch of sportswomen like your netball members! Katherine continues to be incredibly supportive of us and we really appreciate that she is more than happy to give freely of her time as our Patron. We are also delighted to announce that Carol Smillie has also graciously accepted the role of Netball Scotland Ambassador. Amongst her other commitments to us as our Ambassador, she has very generously offered to compere the Awards Dinner this year. Our Awards Dinner is an absolutely positive showcase for Netball Scotland and for our members, I would therefore like to really encourage you to come along this year on the 15th of November and share in our celebration of success. The Netball Scotland Staff and Board have worked extremely hard to ensure our continued progress in all areas of work. As ever, our thanks to sportscotland for their unstinting support, funding, advice and guidance. Their additional investment in our growing number of Regional Development Managers and other initiatives ensures further progress in our quest to have sustained development and improvement right across Scotland for our sport. We are fully involved in the formulation and review of robust and transparent procedures and policies which ensures that, as a National Governing Body, our governance is of a very high quality and is fit for purpose. Later this year we make a presentation to sportscotland in a bid to sustain their confidence and investment in us, thus ensuring funding and support is at the highest level possible for the next four years. This will guarantee our continuing development and also ensure that our ambitious plans and responsibilities to our members can be realised in line with our strategic plans for the future. We also strive to ensure our political voice is heard at national and international levels by attending Netball Europe AGMs, INF Congress meetings and Scottish Government Sports Forums amongst others. All in all a VERY busy year if you also factor in the numerous performance events Netball Scotland has hosted in the past season! High Performance? It started in January and April in the Emirates Arena...travelled on to Cardiff... then flew to Cape Town... then it continued to the SECC. The Thistles Army has marched 500 miles at least this year to support the Thistles Squad! What a feast of first class netball! The Thistles players, under the very capable guidance of their coaches, have all have worked so hard to compete successfully throughout this season. In January, we gained wonderful experience versus New Zealand. In April, we triumphed over Trinidad and Tobago and raised our world ranking level to 11th. In May, we travelled, with a very vocal support, to Cardiff. We needed to win in Wales to qualify for the Netball Word Cup in Sydney 2015 and the Thistles delivered! This was swiftly followed by an invitation to play South Africa, world ranked 6th, in June. The Thistle s preparation for the Commonwealth Games was now complete. Time for the Thistles Army of supporters to draw breath, get the Saltire flags out again and be ready for a roller coaster ride of stupendous netball at the Commonwealth Games! The Thistles Squad did us proud and we finished in 9th place overall. An achievement indeed for Netball Scotland as this was our first experience of the Commonwealth Games and we were playing against the top netballing nations in the world. The Thistle s commitment, dedication, determination are inspiring all Scottish netballers young and old alike. We are proud of you and wish you all the best at the World Cup in Sydney in August 2015. Following on from the Commonwealth Games we are now rolling out a Bounce Back to Netball Programme to encourage all age groups to get involved either on the court as a player, as a coach, as a bench official or in fact any kind of volunteer. Look out for it coming to your area! It is absolutely vital we keep building our capacity from grassroots level. However, none of this could happen without our dedicated volunteers. Netball in Scotland would have a different landscape indeed without them! Our thanks go to you all. The CEO for sportscotland, Stuart Harris, being interviewed on television immediately after the Commonwealth Games, was asked Out of all of the Commonwealth Sports, which one do you think will benefit the most from the positive bounce effect in Scotland after these Games? CEO REPORT MAGGIE MURRAY Since January of this year Netball Scotland have been consulting with its membership and key partners on our new Statement of Purpose for the development of netball in Scotland 2015-2019. Through a survey to our clubs and six consultation days covering the north, east, south and west of the country I am delighted to report that we have complete buy-in for our new plan Polaris and its central vision to be the first choice sport for girls and women in Scotland. Polaris is the name of the Northern Light which has guided sailors on their way since time began. They were sure to reach their destination by following its guiding light. We hope that no matter who leads the development of our sport in the future that they will follow Polaris vision and direction and build our sport to last. The needs, views and opinions of our members and key partners across Scotland example common desires and challenges therefore we will compile a detailed delivery plan over the next few months to reflect the consensus expressed during our consultation. The final plan will be unveiled in early November to members and during November we formally engage our government sponsors to invest in netballs future. I believe Netball will flourish in Scotland if we work together as one cohesive and determined big team driving outcomes and success at all levels of our sport. The largest increase in Secondary Schools was found in the West with 14 new affiliated Secondary Schools. There were consistent increases in Junior and Senior Clubs with a large growth in Club members all across Scotland (+405). The notable decreases in individuals can be attributed to these members joining clubs. With the addition of Regional Development Managers in the East and Grampian and newly appointed West (North), it is our hope to further increase these developments. With a large portion of the RDM s focus for the next 4 years being on increased membership and increased profile of Netball Scotland in these regions, I am confident that we can report further improvements in these areas in future seasons. AFFILIATION FEES 2014/15 There are some slight changes to the Affiliation fees for the 2014/15 season. Following the 2013 AGM the Junior Club Fee will increase from 3.00 to 6.00 and the Non Player (Active) will increase from 21.00 to 26.00. There is the addition of the Non-Active Member with the fee of 21.00. Senior 36.00 Student/Unwaged/Junior playing in a Senior League 26.00 Non Player (Active - Coach/Umpire/Management) 26.00 Non-Active Member 21.00 Junior 6.00 Secondary School 25.00 Primary School FREE DATA MANAGEMENT We have now fully implemented the new and improved, comprehensive and user friendly NS membership system, Azolve. Work is still on going with our partners sportscotland and Azolve sports administration experts for the increased functionality allowing all NS staff the facility to produce reports and gather regional information, not purely membership reporting. The new system will soon streamline financial process to link membership and accounts in a proactive manner, thus cutting out a lot of repetition across the NS staff work. 6
DISTRICT COMPETITION COMPETITIONS REPORT EMMA PARKER The 2013/14 season followed the same structure as the 2012/13 i.e. a two-tiered competition for Under 17s and the retention of the Academy programme for Under 15 athletes. Once again, the season began with the Under 17 Play Off Day (22nd September 2013). Following this event we had confirmation of the 6 Districts that would compete in the Performance league, with other remaining teams competing in the Development League. We unfortunately had 2 teams pull out of Performance league resulting in only 4 teams competing. We have held a District review meeting and the format will stay the same for 2014/15 but the events will have more prestige. Performance will be playing before Christmas and development after Christmas. We will still have 6 teams in performance (top 6 go through to performance regardless of district) with remaining in Development league. Teams will take more responsibility for these events with Districts taking responsibility over umpires. The Under 15 structure is to change for 2014/15. There will be a North/South split with top 6 teams from both areas heading to Finals Day in March and the bottom 6 teams from each area will go to a consolation finals day. Games will also be increased in time. DISTRICT COMPETITION WINNERS UNDER 17 PERFORMANCE - GLASGOW UNDER 17 DEVELOPMENT - EDINBURGH UNDER 15 ACADEMIES - GLASGOW (A AND B) UNDER 17 INTER DISTRICT - GLASGOW UNDER 15 INTER DISTRICT - GLASGOW SCOTTISH SCHOOLS CUP This year saw a total of 181 teams from 71 schools from around Scotland compete over the 4 age groups, this was slightly down on last year. We kept the Gold, Silver and Bronze competitions within each age group. To facilitate 12 finals, the Scottish Schools Cup Finals were once again hosted over a two day event and we returned to Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, Motherwell. We had problems this year due to schools holidays but we are looking to get the dates out earlier to schools before they sign up to join the competition. We will retain the same format this year as after surveying members, we found most teams wish to keep the same. We will try to mix teams in the regional rounds as much as possible. SCOTTISH SCHOOLS CUP WINNERS GOLD SILVER BRONZE S1 PEEBLES HIGH, BORDERS LOMOND SCHOOL, ARGYLL & BUTE MADRAS COLLEGE, FIFE S2 STRATHAVEN ACADEMY, SOUTH LAN WOODMILL HS, DUNFERMLINE HAWICK HS, BORDERS S3 HYNDLAND SECONDARY, GLASGOW ROBERT GORDON S COLLEGE, ABERDEEN CRAIGMOUNT, EDINBURGH OPEN PEEBLES HIGH, BORDERS WOODMILL HS, DUNFERMLINE BALWEARIE HS, FIFE SCOTTISH CUP For the 2013/14 season Netball Scotland hosted the 2nd one-day Scottish Cup Tournament. On Saturday 9th November 2013, we welcomed 24 teams to the Emirates Arena, Glasgow, who were then split into 6 sections. We had a brilliant day with lots of great netball played and on completion we had 8 teams move to the Scottish Cup and the remaining 16 teams move to the Evelyn Beattie Quaich. With 8 teams in the Scottish Cup competition we were able to move straight into a Quarter Final and then a Semi Final round, a much simpler process than previous seasons. Similarly, the Evelyn Beattie Quaich competition was also less complicated even with the inclusion of a 2nd round to facilitate all 16 teams. We look forward to retaining this structure for the 2014/15 season, although the one day tournament will be held over two venues allowing for more teams to enter. SCOTTISH YOUTH CUP This season saw an increase in participation with 65 teams entered across 3 age groups Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17. We continue to face difficulty with junior clubs struggling to fit in all of their games within different leagues, District and National commitments etc. Also teams have indicated that they play teams from their same district over and over again and don t get chance to play teams from other areas of Scotland. NATIONAL FINALS DAY 2012 National Finals Day 2014 was hosted by Netball Scotland on Sunday 11th May at Lagoon Leisure Centre in Paisley. This was a fabulous way to end the season, with great crowds getting behind all finalists. Club and District coaches received 5 CPD sessions across the country with 108 coaches attending sessions delivered by Wai Tamuara, Noeline Taurau, Vicki Wilson, Gail Parata and the National Technical Team. That s a 50% increase in coaches attending Netball Scotland workshops from season 2012 2013. PATHWAYS DEVELOPMENT GERALDINE MOORE ATHLETE PATHWAY PROGRAMME KEY ACHIEVEMENTS Our Athlete Pathway programme has continued to grow over the last season with the opening of a second Junior Pathway Centre in Aberdeen City and the opening of the West Development Centre in Glasgow, bringing the total number of centres across Scotland to 13. With U17 Netball Europe Championships being held in Worcester in March, a Development Squad were selected and entered into the Invitational Section of the championships. A squad of 12 players from across the 4 Development Centres headed south to represent Scotland accompanied by their Management team. The squad played matches against squads from 2 English Regions, Wales and Switzerland providing an invaluable experience for our young players and coaches as they continue along their respective pathways. KEY CHALLENGES Lack of quality qualified coaches to deliver expanding programme Limited financial resources to enhance programme TALENT IDENTIFICATION KEY ACHIEVEMENTS Netball Scotland s Make It R.E.A.L. Framework, Guidelines and Resource Packs completed and ready for launch across Scotland. Make It R.E.A.L. is a comprehensive guide to Netball Scotland s plan to enable the Scottish Thistles to achieve a top six world ranking by 2020. The plan is supported by the Make It R.E.A.L. Guidelines which provides clear detail of age and stage competencies required to progress through the pathway. The Resource Packs for Attack & Movement, Ball Handling, Defence and Shooting are a first class coaching tool to embed the basic principles of the game written by members of the National Technical Team and former age group National coaches. KEY CHALLENGES To ensure roll-out of Make It R.E.A.L. resources embeds consistent content delivery across Scotland. To identify and train Scouts & Selectors across Scotland. REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT KEY ACHIEVEMENTS This year saw the appointment of our first Regional Development Managers, Sally Carns (Grampian) and Blair Cremin (East) with the recruitment process beginning for the appointment of a West (North) RDM to come into post August 2014. The remit of the RDM s is fundamentally to increase membership, develop talent in clubs, develop school-club links, develop volunteers, build and sustain partnerships and build the profile of netball in the region. No small remit, I am sure you will agree however, having officers on the ground has made a real impact on local/regional development. See the Grampian & East reports below for more detail. 10
PATHWAYS DEVELOPMENT SALLY CARNS (GRAMPIAN) OVERVIEW Having recently completed my first year with Netball Scotland as the RDM for Grampian covering Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray, I am delighted to produce my first report for the Netball Scotland AGM. It would be impossible to report on everything that we do on a daily basis so 2 main focal areas are discussed below; Membership and Workforce. The year has been spent mapping out the netball scenery in the area and focussing on areas where the most impact could be felt initially. Towards the end of the season and throughout the summer planning has now been completed for the next 12 months and I look forward to welcoming new members and working alongside existing to continue to develop netball across all areas of Grampian. MEMBERSHIP There has been a 14% increase from season 2012-2013 on our individual (junior and adult combined) membership numbers. I am delighted to report we have 21 new Primary school affiliations and these numbers continue to increase through partnership working with the Schools themselves and the Active School s coordinators throughout the region. Strong relationships have been formed through continuous work with key partners in the area, both through ADNA and the Grampian Netball Network. Clubs are engaged with the work we are doing in the area and new clubs are developing and forming for next season. KEY POINTS Increase in Adult Membership 14% Increase in Primary school membership 35% Increase in Secondary School membership 30% 3 new affiliated junior clubs WORKFORCE Workforce and Volunteer recruitment and development have been a major task over the past 12 months. We have succeeded in some areas and others need development and work over the next 12 months. Key areas of focus over the past 12 months have been development of existing coaches of all levels through 2 Technical workshops held in Grampian. Development of young and new coaches has been successful with 4 Netball leaders courses and 1 Getting Started in the area. PATHWAYS DEVELOPMENT BLAIR CREMIN (EAST) OVERVIEW I have now completed my first year as Regional Development Manager (East) for Netball Scotland, and present my 2013-14 AGM Report. The East region consists of Edinburgh, West Lothian, Midlothian, East Lothian and the Scottish Borders; the following report contains information on the Membership and Workforce numbers across these five local authorities. The main focus for 2013-14 was to gain a deeper understanding of the netball landscape and develop relationships with key local authority and club contacts. Netball Scotland now has a strong working relationship with the Sport Development and Active Schools Teams and provides regular support to the 19 clubs in the five local authorities. The goal for 2014-15 is to continue working with the current clubs to build their capacity, while encouraging local volunteers to start new clubs in other areas. MEMBERSHIP There has been a combined 11% increase in Junior and Adult members in the East since summer 2013. The majority of this increase has been in the junior membership, due to the high level of support offered to the Junior clubs. At this point, all adult clubs in the East are based in Edinburgh, most of which are operating at full capacity. There has been little change in the number of affiliated schools during 2013-14; this is perhaps due to a focus on club development. KEY POINTS KEY CHALLENGES Increase in Junior and Adult Membership 11% Creating capacity / opportunities for Adult members. 1 new affiliated Primary School Creating new clubs for Juniors and Adults. 2 new affiliated Junior Clubs, 2 new affiliated Senior Clubs WORKFORCE The development of a qualified, confident workforce has been a main focus of 2013-14 in the East. Coaches, umpires and volunteers are vital to clubs increasing their membership and improving their performance. There has been significant improvement in the number of UKCC 1 qualified coaches, and C level umpires. However, there has been minimal increase in the number of UKCC 2 coaches and B level umpires. From August 2013 July 2014, there has been 2 x UKCC 1, 2 x C Award and 1 x B Award courses run successfully in the East. KEY POINTS 89% increase in UKCC 1 coaches in the East. 30% increase in C level umpires in the East. KEY CHALLENGES Supporting coaches and umpires to gain UKCC 2 / B level qualifications. PERFORMANCE ELENA MORRIS, GAIL PARATA & LESLEY MACDONALD OVERVIEW Since July 2013 the Scottish Thistles have been on a steep learning curve. Building solid basics and increasing fitness levels were identified as high priority. The basic fundamentals programme focused on passing, catching, footwork, shooting and defending and the strength and conditioning programme focused on improving fitness levels to be in line with international teams ranked in the top 6 in the world. In one year the Scottish Thistles have improved both these areas and as a result have gone from 15th to 11th in the world rankings as at the 1st of July 2014. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS August 2014 Placed 9th at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. This was the first time competing at a Commonwealth Games. July 2014 Achieving 11th in the World rankings. May 2014 Qualified to compete at the 2015 Netball World Cup in Sydney in August 2015. Beating Northern Ireland for the first time in four years. April 2014 Won a three test series against Trinidad and Tobago ranked 9th in the World. April 2014 Scotland U19 placed 3rd at the Netball Europe held in Northern Ireland March 2014 Scotland U17 placed 3rd at the Netball Europe held in England February 2014 Placed 2nd at the Northern Cup which included Wale and Singapore. Beating Wales in the round match for the first time in four years. August 2013 Placed 12th at the 2013 World Youth Netball Championships. Five places up from the previous championships. KEY HIGHLIGHTS July 2014 Commonwealth Games Achieve programme included three Scottish Thistle squad members and two Netball Scotland national technical coaches. This programme supports aspiring athletes and coaches by offering them insights into the uniqueness of the multi-sport environment July 2014 Developed an U23 squad involving 24 athletes with key focus toward the 2017 World Youth championships June 2014 Invited to South Africa to play a three test series against the Proteas who are ranked No 6 in the world. First ever tour to South Africa. The third test being our most competitive with a 13 goal difference. June 2014 Appointed National Technical Coaching team including two apprentice coaches May 2014 Invited elite training partners (two from NZ and one from Australia) to provide Scottish Thistles with elite competition April 2014 Hosted Noeline Taurua High Performance Shooting Coach from New Zealand to provide expert coaching to the Scottish Thistles and Coaches in Aberdeen & Glasgow March 2014 Scotland U17 development squad entered into the Netball Europe competition winning against Switzerland and competing against Wales and England U15 January 2014 Hosted the New Zealand Silverferns (Ranked No 2 in the World) in two exhibition matches. The Scottish Thistles support staff and New Zealand support staff shared best practice. Dec 2013/ Jan 2014 Training match play v Surrey Storm and Team Northumbria Uk Super League teams. Scottish Thistles were competitive in both matches losing by small margins. December 2013 Lesley MacDonald appointed to the Coaching Futures Coach position for a 2 year period. November 2013 Hosted Waimarama Taumaunu, National Coach of the NZ Silverferns Netball Team to provide expert coaching to the Scottish Thistles THANK YOU Sport Scotland - For providing financial support to allow us to deliver a national programme to assist our national squads and national coaches to be world class. Glasgow Life - For providing financial support to allow us to host world class international events and to train and play in a world class facility that is the Emirates. The Institute of Sport - For providing high quality professional support to the Scottish Thistles and to ensure that we prepare well for performing on the international stage. FINAL MESSAGE My first year as the national coach of the Scottish Thistles has been an honour and a privilege. We have achieved a lot in a year. One key area that has shown the most improvement is we are much better at retaining possession. This is because our basic fundamentals are solid and fitness levels are now tracking on par with high ranking international teams. One year ago we averaged 40 losses per match. At the Commonwealth Games we averaged 28 losses per match. (High ranking teams average 18 22 losses per match). Still room for improvement but a very pleasing statistic nevertheless! As the national coach my aim is to continue to raise the standard of play throughout Scotland. One way we can do this is for the Scottish Thistles to continue to play high ranking world class teams. 14

MARKETING, MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS CLAIRE NELSON OVERVIEW With a now established and recognised brand, Season 2013-2014 s focus was on raising the profile of the sport and organisation across media and political channels. THE AMBITION WAS THREEFOLD: 1. BUILD MEMBERSHIP AND ACTIVE PARTICIPATION/INTEREST IN THE SPORT, AS WELL AS INCREASED SUPPORT FOR THE NATIONAL SQUAD; 2. GENERATE MEDIA INTEREST IN, POLITICAL SUPPORT FOR AND FINANCIAL INVESTMENT OF THE SPORT AND NATIONAL SQUAD; 3. ENSURE STRONG AND CONSISTENT COVERAGE IN THE RUN UP TO, AND DURING, THE GLASGOW 2014 COMMONWEALTH GAMES [AGAINST 16 OTHER PARTICIPATING SPORTS]. CAMPAIGN The Marcoms campaign activity commenced early 2013, in the run up to the World Youth Netball Championships (WYNC). With the support of Glasgow Life, Netball Scotland was able to create and execute a high profile commercial campaign which had a strong impact domestically with coverage across all media channels outdoor media, press, radio, television, digital, social media as well as across the other 19 participating countries. The commercial campaign was supported by a direct and strategic school engagement programme, with the end results delivering: 1. RECORD MATCH DAY ATTENDANCE FIGURES AND TICKET SALES 2. INCREASED MEMBERSHIP BY 30% 3. SIGNIFICANT AND SUSTAINED DAILY NATIONAL MEDIA COVERAGE ACROSS MULTIPLE CHANNELS IN THE RUN UP TO AND DURING THE 10 DAY EVENT 4. AVERAGE DAILY LIVE STREAMING FIGURES OF 25,000 ACROSS 50 COUNTRIES 5. GLOBAL MEDIA COVERAGE, WITH THE MOST INTENSE COVERAGE IN NEW ZEALAND AND AUSTRALIA The success of the WYNC was then followed quickly by a sell out third Annual Awards ceremony. Delivered with minimal investment from Netball Scotland, the 2013 Awards held in the Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport, saw double the number of guests from the previous year and was enjoyed by all who attended. Early 2014, Netball Scotland hosted an Exhibition Series against world #2 New Zealand at the Emirates Arena. Again, this event enjoyed capacity audiences and significant daily media coverage, predominantly from the BBC and national press. The improved on court performances under new National Coach, Gail Parata, has seen support for the Thistles increase significantly across the NS membership, with match ticket and merchandise sales delivering increased revenue, and social media engagement consistently growing. April 2014 saw a second test series against Trinidad and Tobago, where a Scottish Thistles support membership was launched under the name Thistles Army. A social media hashtag campaign delivered supporter engagement, whilst t-shirts, banners and posters created court side awareness and generated merchandise sales. Again, media coverage and ticket sales for open matches were strong and continued to grow. 18
MARKETING, MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS COMMONWEALTH GAMES Glasgow 2014 delivered a substantial opportunity to continue the great works started prior to WYNC, by delivering a solid and sustained media campaign, both independently and with Commonwealth Games Scotland, Glasgow 2014 and Team Scotland. With the introduction of a part time but highly dedicated and skilled press officer, The Scottish Thistles were featured heavily across a range of media channels: NATIONAL PRESS SOCIAL MEDIA TELEVISION RADIO OUTDOOR MEDIA PUBLIC EVENTS The focus was a blend between athlete preparation and expected performance at Games time, as well as a number of lifestyle features which engaged a female audience. Whilst to coverage was excellent and really boosted the profile of the sport and assisted with the demand for preliminary rounds and finals ticket sales, we were disappointed not to see netball featured in Glasgow 2014 mainstream television advertising campaigns. Team Scotland, however, were great supporters of our sport and regularly profiled the athletes and reported on our successes and achievements. Prior to the Games, the BBC documentary Game, Net and Match was aired on BBC2 at 9pm, and was exceptionally well received. It charted the journeys of both the athletes and the NS staff in preparing for Glasgow 2014, and highlighted the passion, focus and determination of all, even when faced with significant challenges. Also just prior to the Games, Scottish television presenter Carol Smillie agreed to be an Ambassador for Netball Scotland. Reporting courtside at Team Scotland netball matches for Radio 5 Live, and championing the sport and the Thistles in press articles and on social media, Carol s role ensured that Scottish netball and it s people stayed in the spotlight. She has agreed to present the Netball Scotland Annual Awards in November, and to front the media launch of the Bounce Back to Netball programme later on this year. After a hugely successful 12 months where the sport has enjoyed unprecedented levels of media coverage, membership engagement, fan support and team successes, we must as a Governing Body ensure that we can continue this period of growth and capitalise on the increased exposure. WE MUST: 1. DELIVER REGULAR INTERNATIONAL EVENTS FOR THE MEDIA TO COVER AND FANS TO ATTEND; 2. LAUNCH A NATIONAL BOUNCE BACK TO NETBALL PROGRAMME OFFERING A SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP OPTION; 3. CONTINUE TO ENSURE THAT OUR NATIONAL ATHLETES ARE CONSISTENTLY PROFILED/FEATURED ACROSS NATIONAL MEDIA CHANNELS; 4. ENGAGE NEW SPONSORS, FUNDERS AND INVESTORS; 5. DELIVER AN ANNUAL AWARDS EVENT THAT IS ON A PAR WITH, OR BETTER THAN, THE PREVIOUS YEAR S; 6. DELIVER AN ENGAGING AND HIGH PROFILE ROAD TO THE WORLD CUP CAMPAIGN 19
