ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Substantial manual handling is an inherent physical requirement f this rle. The incumbent will be required t: Perfrm push/pull, reaching, grasping, fine manipulatin tasks including lifting items up t 10kgs Pssess the physical ability t carry ut cleaning duties which invlve frequent bending, reaching/stretching, squatting, repetitive lifting and standing fr lengthy perids. RISK MANAGEMENT/OH&S RESPONSIBILITIES: Ntify apprpriate Manager/Supervisr f all wrkplace and public incidents/injuries. Cnduct incident investigatins as required, and participate in and prvide all necessary dcumentatin and supprt as required fr insurance claims management. Cmply with all CSCS plicies, prcedures and safe wrk instructins applicable t yur rle, as varied frm time t time. Participate in risk management activities and safety activities as required by yur rle r nminated by yur Manager. Reprt all bserved hazards Manage all buildings and equipment assets in yur cntrl t ensure prtectin frm fire, theft, damage and lss. JUDGEMENT AND DECISION MAKING: At times this psitin requires the incumbent t use their wn judgement n what needs t be cleaned and when it shuld be dne ensuring that there is n disruptin t custmers The nature f the wrk is usually specialised with prcedures t be understd and used. There are schedules t cmply with but the incumbent shuld be flexible especially where emergency situatins arise. SPECIALIST SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Ability t wrk unsupervised and as part f a team. KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES: The incumbent must ensure that a high standard f cleaning is carried using safe wrk methds (Guidance and advice is always available frm the Supervisr / Manager.)
