Any changes will be accepted until March 31, 2014 Midnight. Ear number changes will be accepted up until Friday April 4, 2014 9:00 PM with a $1.00 fee. No Exceptions.. 2. Sale coops are available on a first come, first served basis. Sale coops cost $4.00 each. They must be prepaid and included on the entry form. Each coop may hold one rabbit which meets the minimum show weight requirement. See entry form for additional information. 3. Your entry must indicate if it s Open or Youth. All entries not specifically marked as Youth will be assumed to be Open entries and cannot be changed after March 31, 2014. CREDIT CARD PAYMENT OPTION: Send your paper entry or email to the Show Secretary. State that you are choosing the credit card payment method. Then call Kammalop Specialties at 785-479- 5813 by March 31 11:30 pm CST. Payment will appear on your statement as Kammalop Specialties. Your paid entry will be transferred to the KSLRC account. A $30.00 surcharge will be assessed for a payment with insufficient funds. REMEMBER TO ALSO ORDER BANQUET TICKETS and SALE COOP with your entry. 4. YOUTH & OPEN ENTRIES MUST USE SEPARATE ENTRY FORMS. The same rabbit cannot be entered in both the Open & Youth division of the same show. All rabbits must be entered in the name of the bona fide owner. Entry consists of an entry form and payment... Comment cards will be completed by the Jacket Officer. It is the exhibitor s responsibility to pick up their comment cards after judging. These cards will not be mailed. 5. All rabbits (inmates) must be permanently and legibly ear marked in their left ear or they will be disqualified from competition. For these shows, each inmate MUST have their cell number written in magic marker legibly in their right ear. Markers will be available at check-in. 6. Any rabbits (inmates) locked in or not in their assigned coops at the time of judging (review), will be scratched from their class. 7. No one other than show personnel are allowed behind the show table during judging. 8. All animals in the showroom must be entered in the NLRCA or KSLRC Specialty or in a reserved sales coop. 9. Any animal showing signs of illness or disease and/or unsightly specimens must be removed from the showroom. Entry fees on such specimens will be forfeited 10. Neither the Kansas Lop Rabbit Club, Lop Rabbit Club of America, Inc. (LRCA) nor the Kansas State Fairgrounds will be responsible for any injury or accident occurring during the show. Please understand the below Kansas law before entering, it is also posted in the show room. KS LAW K.S.A. 60-4001 THROUGH 60-4004 UNDER KANSAS LAW, THERE IS NO LIABILITY FOR AN INJURY TO OR DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN DOMESTIC ANIMAL ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF DOMESTIC ANIMAL ACTIVITIES, PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 1 THROUGH 4 YOU ARE ASSUMING THE RISK OF PARTICIPATING IN THIS DOMESTIC ANIMAL ACTIVITY.

PAGE 6 11. Parents are responsible for damage done by their children, please keep track of them. Attendees should not enter any other building of the Kansas State Fair Grounds. We will do all within our power to have a safe show, please do the same. 12. No dogs, cats, scooters, roller skates, skate boards, or roller blades are allowed in the buildings. 13. KSLRC reserves the right to substitute or add a judge or judges if necessary. KSLRC does not allow animals under ARBA minimum breed weight in the show barn. KSLRC reserves the right to refuse entries from any exhibitor(s) placing an entry from all locations within 150 miles which that has had a confirmed outbreak of RCV/RHD/VHD within the past 60 days of the entry deadline and/ or date of show. 14. Grooming tables wagons/carts and chairs MUST NOT block isles and walkways. 15. The show committee shall decide any and all questions which are not specifically covered by the show rules. All decisions will be final. 16. Smoking is not allowed in any of the buildings or the hotel 17. Facilities: PAGE 8 PAGE 9 The Big House (Facilities) The show will be held in the Rabbit barn at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, KS. It is a big bright building with everything under one roof from youth activities, sale coops, and rest rooms. Plenty of parking is available on all sides of the showroom (the Yard) The State Fair Rabbit barn has permanent cooping with roughly 1,200 coops. Square black pint size cups are available for use in the cells but you may want to consider bringing your own feed/ water utensils. The cages (cells) are stacked two high with extra wide aisles. Showroom cells have heavy welded wire floors with solid partitions between cells on the sides and backs. Show cells have drop pans with shavings below the wire. Carriers and supplies may be stored beneath caging. Additional shavings will be on hand. Sell Coop will be located in same building and coops. Water is accessible from several faucets spaced throughout the building. There are no restrictions for hay or straw in the cells non will be provided so owners will need to provide their own. ENTRY CHECK-IN VERIFICATION TO BE COMPLETED BY 9:00 PM April 4, 2014. The showroom will open at 6:00AM on Saturday April 5th. All animals must be in their cell by 8:00AM and all locking devises must be removed or the inmates will not be able to appear before the Parole Board. All inmates will be released Sunday morning April 6, 2014 unless going up for review for the KSLRC Board which will start at.8:00 AM Sunday morning. Rabbits left in the showroom after 5:00PM Sunday April 6, 2014 become the property of KSLRC. Unless Special commendations have been set up with the Warden before hand. Please check that you have the correct inmate when you are leaving. Please empty all feed & water cups before leaving the show. Exhibitor s animals will be cooped together by Breed, Open or Youth. We will not be cooping inmates in classes like done at ARBA Nationals. From K-96 via South Hutchinson: follow K- 96/Main St. Go North on Main to 20th Ave. The Kansas State Fairgrounds entrance is located at 2000 Poplar St, accessible from either Poplar or 20th Ave. E-1 The Showroom is to the East of the entrance. Free parking is available around the building. Banquet will be held in the Pride of Kansas Building. This is just to the Left as you come into the main entrance of the Fair Grounds. A few attractions in HUTCHINSON, KS You will find Hutchison a community with Midwest hospitality, great chow and two exceptional one of a kind museums. The Kansas Underground Salt Mine - 650 ft. below! We had hoped to have you swing your pick axes in the Hutchinson Salt mine during the banquet but you will have to find your own time on the prairie to do so. Visiting the Salt Mine is a unique experience not to be missed. http://underkansas.org/ The Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center only the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum, Washington, D.C. has a larger collection of U.S. space artifacts but Hutchinson has the largest collection of Russian space artifacts outside of Russia.
