Revised 8/12/2015 Location Respectful Responsible Safe Ready Hallways * Keep hands to self * Walk quietly on the right side of the hallway *Keep hands to your side and look but don t touch the walls *Work quietly in the hallways *Follow directions (say OK or I can do that) *Walk quietly, to the right, and in a straight line when with your class *If walking with others, go no more than 2 by 2 to the right * Walk facing forward *Watching * Walk on the right side of hallway *Take the most direct route (teacher approved route) to your destination Stairwells * Walk up/down the stairwell in a line on the right hand side. * Walk silently in the stairwell. *Keep hands to your side and look but don t touch the walls. *Feet should touch every step. *Use railing at all times. *Walk without leaning out over the rails. * Walk facing forward

Arrival ALL AREAS * Follow the directions of the adult in your area * Wait for teacher to dismiss your grade level to class * When entering from outside the building walk to your area quietly (cafeteria, lobby, reading hallway) *Follow expectations for your area. * Go directly to your location/classroom * Keep your backpack closed and with you in the lobby, reading hall, and cafeteria. * Listen for your grade level to be dismissed. READING HALLWAY * Sit silently with your book JOGGING CLUB * Sit down in music hallway quietly * Walk down the hallway quietly LOBBY * Sit down in your grade level area * Wait for teacher to dismiss your grade level to class

Dismissal CAR RIDERS * walk quietly to lobby/cafeteria * sit quietly until your name is called * walk to flag pole for directions. * If attending an after school club, go directly to its meeting location. * Stay in your bus, car, walk, or club area. * Keep hand, feet, and objects to yourself. * Make sure all materials are in your backpack. * Make sure your backpack is closed. BUS RIDERS * walk quietly to your bus line *Put your backpack on your lap. Field Trips * Listen to directions given by all adults. * Listen to and watch the person speaking (guest speaker) * Follow all bus rules. * Keep track of your belongings * Stay with your assigned group at all times. * Be prepared to participate in all activities. Assembly *Enter and exit quietly * Appropriate applause * Sit quietly during performances *Listen to and watch the person speaking * Sit on your bottom *Keep your eyes on the performance during assembly * Pay attention with eyes and ears *Eyes on your teacher at dismissal *Watch for the quiet signal (thumb up)

Classroom *Look and listen when others are talking. *Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself. *Work quietly without disturbing others. *Be kind and encouraging to self and others. *Use kind and appropriate language when speaking and responding to others (even when you are upset) *Do the assigned task at the assigned place and at the assigned time. *Have an organized, neat, and clean workplace. *Use school and personal materials properly. *In an emergency situation always follow the adult s directions immediately. *Use school equipment as intended. *Keep your body and belongings to yourself. *Ask permission of adult to leave the classroom. *Be prepared for learning with a positive attitude and expected materials. Technology Devices *Bring devices that enhance the learning environment. *Remember to take home device daily. *Do the assigned task at the assigned place and at the assigned time. *Keep passwords private. *Share devices only with teacher permission. *Protect your device. *Device needs to be charged for school daily. *Know your usernames and passwords.

Bathroom *Stay inside your stall when using the bathroom. *One person in each stall *Respect others privacy *Be Silent *Flush the toilet when finished *One person at the sink at a time. *Go directly to and from the bathroom in a timely manner. *Keep the bathroom neat and clean *Let your teacher know if there is a problem in the bathroom *Turn water off when finished washing hands *Only three students in the bathroom at one time. *Leave stall door unlocked when finished Cafeteria *Enter and exit the cafeteria in silence *Listen to all directions from adults *Talk quietly only to the people sitting beside you at your own table *Walk quietly through the cafeteria line. *Use appropriate manners *Get all utensils, napkins, and sauces as you walk through the serving line. *Stay in the first seat you choose. *Use appropriate hand signals *Allow anyone to sit beside you *If you need to leave your seat, raise your hand to ask for permission *Sit on your bottom with your legs under the table *Pick up trash from the floor and table *Wait for directions from your teacher before being dismissed from your table.

School Clubs *Use only what you bring. *Use materials and/or supplies with permission only. *Respect the privacy of others. *Leave the area looking like it did when you entered *Clean up the area before you leave *Remember that all school rules apply during school clubs *Stay in designated area with an adult *Leave exterior windows and doors shut. *Two adults should attend each club meeting. *Be packed and ready to go at the end of your club meeting. *Watch for your parent a dismissal time.
