Location Respectful Responsible Safe Ready Classroom 2/15/10 Bathroom 12/7/09 *Look and listen when others are talking. *Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself. *Work quietly without disturbing others. *Be kind and encouraging to self and others. *Use kind and appropriate language when speaking and responding to others. *Go directly from the room to the bathroom *Stay inside your stall when using the restroom *One person in each stall * Respect others privacy *Do the assigned task at the assigned place and at the assigned time. * Have an organized, neat, and clean workplace. *Use school and personal materials properly. *Flush the toilet when finished *Wash hands before leaving the bathroom *Take care of bathroom business as quickly as possible *Keep the bathroom neat and clean *In an emergency situation always follow the adult s directions immediately. *Use school equipment as intended. *Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself. *Ask permission of adult to leave the classroom. *Let your teacher know if there is a problem in the bathroom * Use bathroom equipment in the correct way (faucets) Revised 3/1/2010 *Be prepared for learning with a positive attitude and expected materials.

Cafeteria 1/11/10 *Enter and exit the cafeteria in silence *Listen to all directions from adults *Talk only to the people sitting beside you at your own table *Walk quietly through the cafeteria line. *Get all utensils, napkins, and sauces as you walk through the serving line *Stay in the first seat you choose *If you need to leave your seat, raise your hand to ask for permission *Sit on your bottom with your legs under the table *Pick up trash from the floor and table *Wait for directions from your teacher before being dismissed from your table

Arrival 1/11/10 Dismissal 2/1/10 *Sit silently in the reading hallway *Follow the directions of the adult in your area *Wait quietly and with attention for your car to arrive or for your bus to leave. *When entering from outside the building walk to your area (cafeteria, lobby, reading hallway) *Sit quietly with your grade level in the lobby *If attending an after school club, go straight there. *Look and listen for your car s arrival. *Go directly to your assigned classroom. *Stay in your bus, car, walker, or club area. *Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself. *Keep your backpack closed and with you in the lobby and reading hall (unless getting a book out) *Listen for your grade level to be dismissed *Make sure all papers and materials are in your backpack. *Make sure your backpack is closed. Field Trips 2/1/10 *Listen to directions given to all adults *Listen to and watch the person speaking (special speaker) *Follow the rules of the field trip location *Follow all bus rules *Keep track of your belongings *Stay with your assigned group at all times *Know the expectations for the trip and be prepared to participate in all activities

Assembly 2/1/10 *Enter and exit the area in a quietly line. *Clap only at appropriate times *Sit quietly during performances. *Listen to and watch the person speaking. *Keep your eyes on your teacher. *Wait for your teacher to give you directions to exit. *Sit criss/cross with hands in your lap Playground 2/15/10 *Share equipment / take turns. *Treat others kindly. *Leave rocks and sticks on the ground. *Slide down the slide on bottom only. * Be aware of others and where they are on the playground. *Stay in assigned area. *Stay within sight of the teacher. * Use playground equipment properly. * One at a time on slide, climbing wall, monkey bars, and rings. *Listen for teacher at the end of recess.

Bus 2/15/10 *Speak in an inside voice. *Use kind words when speaking to others. *Line up quietly when entering the bus. *Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself. *Follow directions the first time they are given. *Accept consequences without arguing or complaining. *Sit in your seat facing forward. *Keep hands, head, and objects inside the bus. *Keep feet in front of you and pointed toward the floor. *Walk to the front of the bus the exit after it has stopped. *Put books / backpack on your lap. *Watch for your bus stop.
