Important information The following information needs to be sent to the Swiss horseracing authority no later than 8 days prior to the entry date: - Name of the horse - Age, DOB, gender, colour, pedigree - Amount of prize money won up to date - Name of the owner - Countries in which the horse has run up to date Horses running in handicap races: - The ratings of France, Germany, United Kingdom, Ireland and Slovakia only are accepted for admission to such races - The rating should be sent at the time of the entry - For horses with a turf and an all-weather rating, the higher rating counts Information that has to be sent until the last forfeit date: - Detailed racing performances sent by an official horse racing authority The following documents have to be send to the Swiss horse racing authority before the final declaration of the horse: - RCN (Racing Clearance Notification) - Coggins-Test, with a negative result, which shouldn t be older than 30 days. The stables have been renewed 2017 by the community of St. Moritz for approximately CHF 3.5MM. Stables may only be booked for horses participating at the white turf meeting. Forage boxes can only be given to trainers with several horses. Stables can be used from Monday, January 29, 2018 from 4pm on. The allocation of the boxes lies in the competence of the Rennverein St. Moritz. Booking of boxes The required number of boxes needs to be ordered in written latest by January 29, 2018 following the below link. Only bookings by online form are binding. Stable rules There will be no entry to the stables except for emergencies between 8pm and 6am. In case of emergency the stable guard can be contacted under the number published at the entrance of the stables. Dogs are prohibited in the stables. The complete stable is a strict non-smoking area. The stable guard has full authority to give directives during the entire meeting. The stables will be guarded from Tuesday January 29, 2017 from 4pm until Sunday February 18, 2018, 4.00 pm. It is forbidden to sleep in the stables. Horse transporters, towing vehicles and trailers over 3.5 tons are only allowed to be driven in front of or behind the stable for loading and unloading. They must be removed and parked on the Polo Field or according to the directions of the stable guard immediately afterwards. Parking on the parking lot of the Hotel Restaurant Sonne is prohibited. In front of and behind the stable parking is officially prohibited and will be prosecuted by the police. Training General Information Duri Casty is in charge of the racetrack and has full authority to give directives. Parking and driving on the lake is strictly prohibited. Dogs are only allowed on the racetrack with a leash. During the week As far as the weather conditions and state of racetrack allow it, the racetrack is open for training between 8am and 12am. Afterwards the track is at the disposition of the head of the track for preparation. Racing days At race days the track is closed for training. If the weather conditions and the state of the racetrack allow it, training may be permitted on the 1st and the 2nd racing Sunday from 8am until 10am. The training is restricted to the outer side of the racetrack. Information The opening hours of the track will be announced at the stable information board as well as by the news ticker. 6
Horses passports - Passports must be deposited by 9am on the race day with the stable guard or brought to the racing office on the lake, opposite the jockey s tent latest 30 minutes before the race. - Passports must be picked up at the racing office on the lake latest 30 minutes after the last race. Passports not collected will be sent to the Swiss horse racing authorities. Numbers for trotters can be collected from the stable guard. On race days, access to the inside of the racetrack is restricted to people leading up the horses, white turf staff and authorized representatives of the media. Horse racing authorities do not have access. Trophies CREDIT SUISSE Skikjöring Trophy The Credit Suisse Skikjöring Trophy takes place over all three race days. Drivers and owners have separate lists of rankings. Rules: 1. The Credit Suisse Skikjöring Trophy takes place on the race track of St. Moritz. 2. The 3 best ranked drivers and owners are honoured. 3. The lists of ranking (driver and owner separately) are based on a points system as follows: Winner 8 points 2 nd 5 points 3 rd 3 points 4 th 2 points 5 th 1 point In case of equality in points, the driver/owner with the most wins or 2., 3., 4. or 5. placings takes the lead. The same rule applies to the final ranking. The leading driver wears an armlet in the following races (will be handed out in the paddock by a representative of Credit Suisse). 4. Presentation of the prizes will take place on the winners stage after the final race presentation of the last meeting. 5. The Rennverein St. Moritz will supervise the adherence to the rules. 6. Trainer-Trophy The Trainer-Trophy takes place over all three race days. Rules: 1. The Trainer-Trophy takes place on the race track of St. Moritz including the gallop and trot races, without the skikjöring races. 2. The first ranked trainer becomes honoured. 3. The list of ranking is based on a points system as follows: Winner 8 points 2 nd 5 points 3 rd 3 points 4 th 2 points 5 th 1 point In case of equality in points, the trainer with the most wins or 2., 3., 4. or 5. placings takes the lead. The same rule applies to the final ranking. 4. Presentation of the prizes will take place on the winners stage after the final race presentation of the last meeting. The winner receives 1kg of silver. 5. The Rennverein St. Moritz will supervise the adherence to the rules. 6. It is not liable for towards third parties for thefts, property damages, fire damages and accidents of all kind on or off the racetrack or stables. Liability is subject to the Swiss Code of Obligations. 9
General Information Opening hours of the F&B facilities on the race track: 10.00am until approximately 4.00 pm on the racing days Prize giving ceremony Immediately after each race the prize giving ceremony for the winners will be held at the prize giving stage behind the judges tower. We ask the winning owner, trainer and jockey/driver to immediately adjourn to the prize giving stage. In the 79 th Grand Prix of St. Moritz also the 2nd and 3rd placed owner, trainer and jockey become honoured. Winners of a Trophy shall adjourn to the prize giving stage after the last race on the third race day. Prize The direct acknowledgement to the sponsor/donator is a matter of honour.
