This competition runs for six weeks each year in October and November and is worth getting yourself involved: you will enjoy the relaxed approach to bowls and may help to recruit new members for the club. Mark has also managed to commit six of the competing companies to donate six new sets of bowls that will be engraved with their company name and will be used for Barefoot Bowls and Corporate Cup. Members are requested to support our sponsors whenever possible in return for their genorosity. We benefit greatly from these functions not only financially but through the promotion of our club. Barefoot Bowls Gift Vouchers Following an enquiry we have initiated gift vouchers for Barefoot Bowls. Vouchers can be purchased for any value and will make a Xmas Gift with a difference. To purchase or for more information see Greg or Sue. FROM MIDWEEK PENNANT Please note that the Selectors are doing the best they can with players avail;able and are very aware that continual moving of player is very unsettling. It is frustrating that some of our Competitor Teams are playing Division 1 and 2 Saturday players in much lower Divisions on Tuesday resulting in very uneven results. Our placement on Ladders is not where we went to be but we need to keep trying to play our best, enjoy the game and company and be good sports. Hot Weather If you think you can't cope with the hot weather please let the selectors know as soon as possible as we've reached an age where things can go wrong so quickly.
Practice Morning It's great to see many coming along on Mondays about 9.45am for an hour of loosening up, everyone is welcome. Bus Hire for 3rd Team Team 3 will be using a bus when travelling to Richmond Union on 5th December. This will mean an early start because of peak hour traffic.
