There are still a number of great car shows scheduled for nearly every weekend through the end of October. Of course, we are all looking forward to the Poker Run for Jack Burke and his family on Sunday, September 24th. In October we have the Jim Butler Chevrolet car show on Sunday, October 15th and the Spooktacular Fall Color Cruise and Halloween Party on Saturday, October 21st, and let s not forget the Garage Tours scheduled for Sunday, November 5 th and our annual holiday party scheduled for Saturday, December 2 nd. We hope everyone will be able to attend these great club events! Thanks for your continued support of the Gateway Camaro Club and I look forward to seeing you at the next club meeting. Mark Your Calendar All Chevy Show: September 10 th, The Fabulous Fifties Chevrolet Club of St. Louis presents the All-Chevy Show. (Rain date is September 17th.) 11:00 to 3:30 p.m. Cruisin for Jack Poker Run: Sunday, September 24 th, Rain Date is October 1 st. Run starts at Laurie s Place in Edwardsville, IL and ends at The Loading Dock in Grafton, IL. Prizes, raffles, 50/50 prize. Raffle tickets will be available for this event at the September 11 th meeting. Plus there is an additional fundraiser through Scentsy where 15-20% of the sales from Scentsy products purchased will go to help Jack and his family. Jim Butler Chevrolet s Car Show Supporting Making Strides Against Cancer Awareness: Come out and support the club s sponsor on Sunday, October 15 th, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Jim Butler Chevrolet in Fenton, MO. Details on meet up time and place will follow. GCC Spooktacular Fall Color Cruise and Halloween Party: Saturday, October 21 st, cruise will begin at approximately 1:00 p.m. The Club will cruise the Fall color change to Jeanne and Kevin Walk s home where we will have good food, fun games, movie, fire pit and a whole lot of fun and laughs. If you are not able to make the cruise, please come and join us for the festivities following. Meeting place to begin cruise will be announced at the October meeting. GCC Garage Tours: Sunday, November 5 th. Members will travel to the garages of some club members to view their beautiful cars and hospitality. More details to follow. Annual GCC Holiday Party: Saturday, December 2 nd at Orlando s Banquet Facility in Maryland Heights, MO. This years party is going to be geared to enjoying each other s company.no award type presentations, just good company, food and enjoying each other as the holiday seasons begin. More details to come.

SOME PAST EVENTS Membership attended a detailing clinic at Clear Auto Bra. This clinic was sponsored by Clear Auto Bra and A&G Auto Spa. Thank you to both organizations that made this a special event. Also congratulations to Chuck Howard for getting his car selected for the demonstration model.

SOME PAST EVENTS Powerlight Abe Lincoln Car Show in Springfield, IL was held August 4-6, 2017. Award winners were Fred & Anna Thacker, Dennis & Judy Shoreack, Dan & Patty Wells, Tim & Theresa Jezeski. We also took a Club Participation Award. There were many, many beautiful cars at this show. It was a very enjoyable show.
