WORLD CUP AND WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 0 INTRODUCTION The International Table Soccer Federation (ITSF) and its partners are happy to introduce the : 207 ITSF TABLE SOCCER WORLD CUP The organization of this event has been delegated to Deutscher Tischfussball Bund (DTFB). 3 5 separate team events: Men Women Junior Senior Disabled The 207 World Cup will also feature the 207 World Championships in singles and doubles in the same categories and for the first time in classic and speedball doubles. WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS CLICK HERE TO KNOW HOW TO BE QUALIFIED FOR THE 207 ITSF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 5 categories : - Men - Women - Juniors: (8 and under): players born in 998 or after - male and female - Seniors: (50 and over): players born in 966 or before - male and female - Disabled Doubles : players in wheelchairs - male and female QUALIFICATION: Top Seeds: the Top 4 players/teams in the 206 ITSF Men s Singles/Doubles and Women s Singles/Doubles World Rankings will not play qualification matches. Men Singles Ranking Men Doubles Ranking Women Singles Ranking Women Doubles Ranking In the Men, Women, Junior and Senior Singles/Doubles categories, and in the Disabled Doubles category, the number of qualified players or teams will depend on number of registered players or teams. A match is ONLY game, first to 7 (the 2-point difference rule does NOT apply). point is awarded for each game won. Each player will compete against 6 to 8 (TBD) different opponents and will play at least 50% of their matches on their table of choice (more where both players have chosen the same table). A coin flip shall precede the start of each match : The player who wins the flip has the choice of table side or first serve. The player who loses the flip has the remaining option. ELIMINATION: A match is best of 5 games switching table after each game, first to 5 on each game. In the 5th game, ball is played on the first table, then players play 2 balls alternately on each table until there is a winner with a 2 points difference (no point limit). 2 coin flips shall precede the start of each match: - the player who wins the first flip gets to choose the side of the table he/she will play on for ALL the games in that match; he/she must play on the same side on both tables. - the player who wins the second flip will choose which table is played first or who gets to serve first. The player who loses this flip has the remaining option. - The losing player of the previous game will get the serve. 8 A P R IL 2 0 7
DRESS CODE AND TABLE PICKS SPORT DRESS: A jogging suit (top and bottom) is required of all players. The name of the country must be clearly displayed on the players shirts and jogging suit; players can also add their names and country s flag on their shirts and jogging suits, if they wish. Players must wear their national shirt during ceremonies and matches; players who do not abide by this rule will not be allowed to compete. Players are strongly encouraged to wear their national sport dress during the whole event, even if they don t play every day. Partners in Doubles events must wear exactly the same sport dress. TABLES PICKS: For the World Championships, qualified players and national champions must choose their table by January 3, 207, at the latest, except when national championships take place later. For the World Cup, national federations must announce the choice of the table for each team (the Men s, Women s, Junior, Senior and Disabled teams from the same country can choose different tables) by January 3, 207. Players/teams cannot change their choice of table during the tournament. If 2 opponents/teams have chosen the same table, they will play on one. 9 In national team competions players must wear their national shirt during ceremonies and matches. * When sending their registration, federations authorize the release of photograph, video or both, taken of their players during the event, to the organizing federation and ITSF. They may be used for educational or promotional purposes, including all forms of media and electronic communications. PARKING Please come with the public transport! There are less spaces for parking at the venue, and public transport is well operated in Hamburg by HVV, see page HVV. Parking is possible around the living area. In addition there is a underground parking deck Parkhaus Medienpark Kampnagel, approx. 50 spaces. First come, first serve. Opening hours: 6-24 h each day. Costs:,50 Euro per hour for the first to hours, then Euro per hour. A discount is possible pay 4 Euro for the whole day, but only for the same day. If one stay overnight the discount is cancelled, and he has to pay full price (,50 Euro each of the first two hours, and then Euro per hour. You can get the discount inside Kampnagel at the information desk by a Kampnagel staff. 4
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PLAYERS We recommend players to get their accreditation and their handles before Wednesday, see below. Especially players, who play the Classic discipline. Rules for the World Cup venue Kampnagel Otherwise, you can get your accreditation at the box-office at the entrance of Kampnagel during the opening hours. Please have your ID card or an identification card ready to hand, in order to ensure a smooth and fast access. No own food and drinks are allowed! Food and drinks are available inside Kampnagel, see below. No open drinks, only closable plastic bottles are allowed inside the 5 sport halls. Do not litter, please use the trash cans! At every table pool will be a trash can. Don t lose your accreditation! If you have lost your accreditation, we can reprint one, but have to charge you 40 Eur. Don t use emergency exits! If someone is using an emergency exit unnecessarily, he/she will be excluded from the tournament. No dogs are allowed inside the World Cup venue Kampnagel. Where to get your accreditation? You can get your individual accreditation before Wednesday. This ensures you to play and train on Wednesday morning, from 8:30am, quickly. Getting your accreditation in advance on Tuesday 6:00 to 22:00 in the Kixx, Nobistor 38, Hamburg. Where to get the handles? You can rent your handles before Wednesday. This ensures you to play and train on Wednesday morning, from 8:30am, quickly. Renting your handles in advance on Tuesday 6:00 to 22:00 in the Kixx, Nobistor 38, Hamburg. Otherwise, you can rent handles at the TST booth inside Kampnagel during the opening hours.
