Soccer players are required to attend all games, as well as all before/after school practices during the season as determined by the coach. Parents and players can check the schedule and notify the coach prior to the start of the season of any conflicts Dec 2015 -April 2016. We strongly urge parents/players to inform their club coach/manager that we would like them to be available for High school matches, especially with club tournaments/ecnl matches in Feb/March during important district play. Any conflicts have to be in writing to the coach prior to the season or in the case of ECNL as soon as the schedule is made. (We have moved the district game on Feb 12 to Jan 13 to avoid clashing with ECNL tournament games)

8. Soccer players are required to pass all classes. If a player fails two consecutive nine weeks grading periods she will be removed from the program. 9. Tutorials are allowed before and after school but not during the athletic period. Tutorials are required if an athlete has a 69 or below on a progress report Missed 1 tutorial: 10 minute conditioning: sprints; sit-ups, push-ups, calisthenic exercise Missed 2 tutorials: 15 minute conditioning: sprints; sit-ups, push-ups, calisthenic exercise Missed 3 tutorials: 20 minutes conditioning and sit out a game. You must have a note or email sent from the teacher which details how long you attended, (dates/times) your progress in that class and your adjusted grade. 10. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco use will not be tolerated. Use of these products will result in removal from the soccer program. 11. Soccer players should demonstrate exceptional behavior in the soccer arena as well as in the classroom. Cursing, tantrums, poor work ethic will not be tolerated on the field. Players are expected to be well disciplined. There will be consequences for misconduct such as behavior problems or continued tardiness. a) A player will receive a verbal warning by the coach. b) A meeting with player and coach will be arranged and the player will receive a written warning. c) A meeting will be arranged with player, parent(s) and coaches. d) The player will be removed from the Soccer Program. 12. Letter Jacket Requirement The player has to be selected for the Varsity squad after the final tryouts in November-December 2014. The player has to practice each day with the Varsity and be dressed for each game during the season from Jan 3rd until the season ends. There are no minimum number of games that the player has to play in non- district and district games. If a Varsity player suffers a long term injury prior to the season starting but still attends each practice and games she will still be awarded a letter jacket. The Allen Eagles Soccer Program strives to be one of the best in the State of Texas. You should be proud to be accepted as a member and to represent Allen High school at all functions and events. Hold yourself to the highest standards. I have read and agree to the rules set forth by the Allen Girls Soccer Program. I am aware that a handbook with these rules and schedules, tournaments, travel policy, directions to stadiums, and uniform agreement will be forthcoming in December and on the Soccer website.

August 2015 June 2016 Social Media Guidelines Dear Parents and/or Guardians, The purpose of the letter is to inform you of our newly implemented policy regarding social media. The coaching staff will speak with all players (grades 9-12) and inform them of these expectations. This discussion will include posting on sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. We stress the importance of thinking before posting anything online. All too often, things are posted or stated online that reflect negatively on young people. We do not want this to happen to your daughter. As a staff, we are asking for your support. Please be aware of what your daughters are posting on these various sites. From this point forward, please know that the coaching staff will handle any inappropriate pictures, comments, posts, cyber-bullying, etc. Consequences will be imposed. Consequences could include (but are not limited to) running, conditioning, suspension from games, or removal from the program. Ultimately, we want everyone in our program to be a positive reflection of your family, of Allen High School, and the Allen Soccer program. Thank you for your support in this matter. Please sign below stating that you have received and understand this letter. Players, by signing below, you are stating that you understand and will comply with all program expectations regarding social media.

Soccer Grading Policy 2015-16 REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL COMPETITIVE ATHLETICS Physicals must be completed for all Lowery and Allen High School athletes before any athletic activity can begin. Forms for physicals can be downloaded from the Athletics webpage or can be picked up at the Athletics facility office. Lowery Freshman Center and Allen High School offer a wide variety of highly competitive athletic programs for girls and boys. All positions on an athletic team, with the exception of football and track, are earned through competitive tryouts. Initial tryouts usually occur during the first 2 weeks of a semester; however, additional tryouts may be held prior to the beginning of the season (after Thanksgiving). A schedule change is required in the event a student does not make an athletic team. Strict regulations regarding attendance at practice, training procedures, citizenship, tutorials and academic performance will be applied to all students who participate in athletics. Extended practice time may be required beyond the regular class period or school day. Athletes must travel to and from contests with teams unless excused by the coach. Soccer Tryout Sport PE1SGF FALL PE1SGS SPRING Grade: 9-12 Credit:.5-1 Positions on the team are determined through competitive tryouts. A schedule change is required in the event a student does not make the soccer team. Credits have increased for participation in athletics since 2009. Girls Soccer Policy: Each week a student will receive a grade. This is based on dressed in correct uniform, on time, participation in the class activity, motivation, individual skill and team work. A grade of 100 is awarded each week based on the above. If a player does not participate due to injury, illness, a medical problem, the minimum grade will be 95 each week. Players are still expected to dress out and watch practice after a visit to the training room. A note from a parent or a doctor is required. Failure to bring a note, dress out, incorrect practice/game uniform, lack of effort, attend practice as an observer, unexcused absences can result in daily /weekly grade being lowered. A minimum grade of 90 can be imposed. Grades are posted on Skyward each weekend. Players must attend athletic tutorials each week in A106. if their grades are below 70. A weekly report is sent to the Head coach. Failure to attend tutorials will result in consequences as outlined in the Player Agreement form signed at the beginning of the year. Three non-attendances will result in not being able to play in a competitive game. Continued failure to attend tutorials and non-passing of classes will result in the player's removal from the soccer class. If a player is on the Varsity squad and is not attending tutorials and/or not passing classes, she can be placed in the Varsity-in Training program until all work is made up and grades have returned to a passing grade through Skyward gradebook or an email/note from the teacher that the student is now passing.
