Nepean-Kanata Barracuda Sponsorship Program Who are we? We are the largest and most successful competitive swim club in eastern Ontario with some of the best facilities in Ontario for swimmers from ages 5-25. We have been operating as a nonprofit organization from the newly renovated Nepean Sportsplex & Barrhaven Walter Baker swimming pools since 1973 and NOW in Kanata at the Richcraft Pool Under the leadership of head coach, Scott Faithful, NKB has a proven track record of producing the highest calibre of competitive swimmers. NKB Swim Club Continues to develop regional, provincial, national & international level swimmers who earn swimming scholarships in the US and/or continue their swimming career in the Canadian university programs. Provides opportunities to excel in the sport of swimming and achieving high levels of physical fitness, while having fun accomplishing their goals. Has been a valued contributor in the community for more than 20 years.

The Sportsplex venue is a first rate location for advertising with approximately 104, 000 person-visits per year. On average each meet attracts 500+ swimmers and their families, each family spending approximately $1,000 (including travel, lodging, meals, etc) in the greater Ottawa-Carleton region. The approximate annual net economic impact of these meets alone is $2 million. There are other spin-off benefits to the region that make advertising in our race-day programs very desirable to local business. During each meet spectators purchase approximately 500-1000 race-day programs or "heat sheets" In addition to containing the meet schedule, these represent an opportunity for meet sponsors to advertise.
