Please see the Field Day flyer in this Newsletter that you can use for posting at your place of business, etc. Introduction to NRA Pistol Class The next Introduction to NRA Certified Pistol Class, which covers safety, handgun handling and some shooting will be held either in late fall or early spring. If you are interested in this class, please contact Rod Beyerle at 77-3-7554. Trap (Clay Bird) Shooting Trapshooting continues every Tuesday evening starting about 5 pm. Upcoming registered shoots will be held Labor Day Monday September 7 and Sunday October 4. Winning club members at the recent PA State Shoot Event singles, Sheldon Hostetter won vet runner up breaking 00 of 00 targets. Event 3 doubles, Brian Shyda won with 99 of 00 Event 4 singles Sheldon Hostetter won veteran runner up with 99 of 200 targets. Event 4 singles Sheldon again won veteran runner up with 99 of 200 targets. Event 5 doubles Sheldon broke 95 of 00 to win veteran runner up. Event 7 doubles Les Garis broke 99 of 00 to win class A Event 7 doubles Skip Klinger broke 9 of 00 to win AA 3rd place Event singles championship Sheldon broke all 200 birds to win the veteran trophy. All around champion won by Skip Klinger with 392 of 400 targets. PA Grand Shoot in July Event 2 handicap, Jeff Bechtel broke 9 of 00 from yd line and double shoot off. Event 3 doubles, Brian Shyda won AA runner up with 99 of 00 targets. Congratulations guys at the big shoots.

We were pleased with the attendance and would like to see more members of the Palmyra Sportsmen s Association in attendance next year. Please watch the Newsletter for more information.
