PARKING Spectator parking is available at both venues for $10 per vehicle. The lots adjacent to Hinkle Fieldhouse will be available on Friday and the Barnhill Garage at IUPUI on Saturday, which is located just north of the main cket entrance on New York Street. The garage will be credit cards only while surface parking lots will accept cash. GATES OPEN Gates open beginning at 5 pm ET on Friday and 9:30 am ET on Saturday (one hour prior to kickoff). HAMMOND S ARMANDO GARCIA TO BE HONORED WITH OUTSTANDING OFFICIALS AWARD Armando Garcia of Hammond, is the recipient of the 2017-18 IHSAA Outstanding Soccer Official in the state of Indiana. Armando has been a licensed soccer official for the past 24 years with the Lake County Officials Associa on where he currently serves as the Soccer Chairperson. In addi on to his Associa on responsibili es, Armando has been instrumental in the recruitment, mentoring, and training of IHSAA soccer officials. He serves as one of the IHSAA s most highly respected clinicians. His dedica on and loyalty to his sport, our student athletes, his fellow officials, and the IHSAA have been excep onal. Mr. Garcia was selected for this honor by a commi ee represen ng the 24 officials Associa ons in Indiana. We have more than 7,000 officials licensed by the IHSAA. These officials work relessly to provide safe, compe ve environments for over 160,000 student athletes. During his career, Armando has given of his me and talent in working 21 IHSAA Soccer sec onal tournaments. He has been a part of 13 different regional crews, four semi-state crews, and will be lending his exper se this weekend in leading an officia ng crew in his second state finals appearance. Penn has 19 shutouts in its 23 matches and has allowed only 4 goals all season. Penn s 120 goals this season are just shy of last year s team record of 123.
