We thank Becky for her years of service here at Fairway Pines. Todd Westerbeck has joined our team as the new Dietary Manager. Todd loves to cook and comes with lots of experience. He will be a wonderful addition. Warm Wishes, Jill Niehaus Remember, how you spend your days is how you spend your life. The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his tongue. He is rich who is satisfied with life. Time is like money; the less we have of it the further we make it go. YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN A HOT PLACE WHEN You discover that it takes only two fingers to drive your car. You can make sun tea instantly. You learn that a seatbelt makes a pretty good branding iron. You notice that the best parking place is determined by shade instead of distance. You can actually burn your hand opening the car door. Hot air balloons can t go up.

Grateful to have received a warning instead of a ticket, I gave him a small bag of my grandmother s delicious chocolate chip cookies and proceeded on my way. Later, I was stopped by another trooper. What have I done? I asked. Nothing, the trooper said smiling. I heard you were passing out great chocolate chip cookies.
