START To get to the starting riders follow the instructions. Only contestants are allowed to enter the starting area. RACE OFFICE Ground floor in the building at the finishline in Skellefteå. In Piteå in the building at the beginning of the stadium. Opening hours: Friday 3/1 09.00-18.30. Saturday 4/1 08.00-15.00 Sunday 5/1 08.00-15.00 Piteå Monday 6/1 07.00 14:00 Piteå BIPS is distributed in conjunction with TCM Friday evening and in the morning each competition day at the Race Office. Not returned will be charged the club with 500 SEK. For Sprint Heat leg bibs will be used, attached on the right leg (PLEASE Turn on indoor for better adhesion). Personal transponders shall be used in all races for Swedish and Norwegian competitors. Foreign riders (except Norwegian skiers) must borrow transponders. The same for all races. Lists are also available on www.scandinaviancup.se WAXING CABINS Keys to wasing capbins in Skellefteå are handle out in the Race Office.. Are you arriving with waxing trucks in Skellefteå, contact Åke Thornberg 070-370 09 94 for parking space OVERALLS Overalls will be handled by each team/coach. PRIZE GIVING CERMONI Saturday outside at the stage approx 15 min after finish. Sunday inside on the upperfloor in the waing house in Piteå approx 30 min after finish. PARKING In Skellefteå parking for athletes and teams east of the Race Office building and at the log cabins. In Piteå teams can leave equipment at the Waxing house and park the cars at the team parking. Spectators park their cars outside the arenas. BEVERAGE Hamburges and sandviches are on sale at the arena. RULES FIS competition rules apply. PM Sprint Lördag 4 January 2014 RACE FORMAT D 21 Sprint 1 100 m i Free H21 Sprint 1 460m i Free D 21/H 21 Sprint prologue, quarterfinales, semifinales och A final Prologue with interval start 15 sec. Top 30 goes to final heats. 6 athletes in each heat. START TIMES 09.30 Sprint prologue H 21, D 21 11:30 Quarter final start H 21 och D 21 SEEDING The starting order will be seeded based on FIS points (distance list 3). Bibs are retrieved in Race Office. Deletions made in writing to the Race Office. Top 30 get new bibs in the Race Office before finals. Leg bib on right leg. Personal transponders are to use in the prologuen and the finals. The transponder can be controlled in the race office. START Follow marked signs to start. PRIZES Prices in Scandinavian Cup is 6000 SEK 4000 SEK and 2000 SEK for the first three on podium.
