NEWSLETTER Week 23 LIGUE 1 Week 22 review: Monaco maintain pole in Parc thriller Bernardo Silva's late goal in the 1-1 draw in Paris could prove crucial in the title race this season, as it kept Monaco in front of Nice and three points clear of PSG. Meanwhile OM claimed their first win of 2017, 5-1 over Montpellier. All eyes in France were trained on Sunday's night's gala clash at the Parc des Princes, and they weren't disappoint as Paris Saint-Germain and leaders Monaco delivered a high-class battle, with Edinson Cavani bagging his 21st of the season late on (81', pen.) only to see Bernardo Silva's crisp strike from the edge of the area level matters in injury time (90'+2). The result saw Monaco maintain their place atop the Ligue 1 standings - on goal difference ahead of Nice - while Paris remain in third, leaving matters much as they were before the big clash, but with a sense of 'to be continued', with the two sides set to duke it out at distance for the remainder of the season - with the exception of the Coupe de la Ligue final, on Saturday April 1, which promises to be a thrilling occasion. "Perhaps after being 1-0 down, the draw isn't so bad, but we came here looking for the three points," said defiant Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim. "The title race is very tight. It won't be until April or May that it will be won." Opposite number Unai Emery agreed that there is a long way to go: "It was a tough match against a good team, who worked hard throughout the match. Overall, I think the result was a fair one," said the Spaniard, who sent latest signing Gonçalo Guedes on to make a promising debut late on. "The match was tough, and we did manage to break the deadlock. We were close to the win. We didn't get the best result tonight, but we are only three points off Nice and Monaco. The team that proves the most consistent between now and the end of the season will take the league title." Consistency hasn't been the word for OGC Nice in 2017, the Autumn Champions tumbling somewhat in the New Year, but on Sunday afternoon Lucien Favre's men turned in a fine performance to topple Guingamp 3-1 at the Allianz Riviera, with Mario Balotelli sealing the deal late on with his ninth of the campaign (87'). The win - their first in four Ligue 1 outings - saw them pile the pressure on fellow title challengers Monaco and PSG but boss Lucien Favre felt his side will need to be very much on their toes as they clash with Monaco - with whom they are locked on 49 points - at the Stade Louis II in Week 23. "It was a difficult game," said the Swiss tactician after the convincing win that saw key midfielder Jean-Michaël Seri mark his return from AFCON duties with Côte d'ivoire with a goal. "Guingamp did not have many chances but we backed off and we suffered. We must continue keep our level up throughout games and we will have a big one next Saturday in Monaco." Week 23 will Marseille looking to claim a first away win of 2017 after breaking their home duck in the New Year in style with a 5-1 hammering of Montpellier at the Stade Vélodrome to kick off the weekend's action. A hat-trick from Bafétimbi Gomis featured as Rudi Garcia's men - including brand-new signing Patrice Evra at left-back - ran riot. "It's not a kick-start, it's a response," said Garcia of the resounding victory. "We really wanted to get back to winning ways. We wanted to make amends, show the sort of team we can be. It's very nice to score five goals at the Vélodrome, to make our fans happy. Our first half was top class, but the first 20 minutes of the second were not good. But it's a great win in the end." Meanwhile Olympique Lyonnais failed to follow on from their win over Marseille in Week 21's Olympico, falling to a shock home defeat, 2-1 to LOSC. Ex-OL youth academy prospect Yassine Benzia did all the damage, scoring twice to make Alexandre Lacazette's spot-kick - his 18th goal of the season - a mere consolation. 02/03/2017 Ligue de Football Professionnel - 2016/2017 - Ligue1.com 1

"It was an ugly evening because we've dropped three important points in terms of our challenge for a podium finish or better," said devastated OL boss Bruno Genesio. "We didn't deserve anything else over the course of the game as we only played in total for a single half and that's not enough. We thought that we'd be able to build on our great win over Marseille. Now we need to bounce back and buck up our ideas." OL are now nine points adrift of third-placed PSG, and only four clear of fifth-placed arch-rivals Saint-Etienne, who continued their unbeaten start to 2017 with a resounding 3-0 win away to ten-man Toulouse, who had Wergiton Somalia sent off early in the second half. Bordeaux claimed a 2-0 victory - to bounce back from their 4-1 mid-week hammering at the hands of PSG in the Coupe de la Ligue semis - over Nancy, who had been eliminated from the same competition by Monaco on Tuesday night, to leapfrog Guingamp into seventh. Rennes and Nantes drew 1-1 in the latest Brittany derby, Bastia were held 1-1 at home to Caen and Dijon claimed an important 3-2 win away to bottom club Lorient while Angers broke out of the drop zone with a 2-1 win over 19th-placed Metz. Week 22 reactions - Emery: 'A fair result' Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery was pleased with his side's performance despite being caught by a late equaliser in the 1-1 draw at home to Monaco; opposite number Leonardo Jardim said the title race will go down to the wire. Sunday, 29 January, 2016 Paris Saint-Germain 1-1 AS Monaco Unai Emery (Paris Saint-Germain coach): "It was a tough match against a good team, who worked hard throughout the match. Overall, I think the result was a fair one. The match was tough, and we did manage to break the deadlock. We were close to the win. Monaco looked to hit back right up to the final seconds and they pinched the draw. We continue to make progress. We didn't get the best result tonight, but we are only three points off Nice and Monaco. The team that proves the most consistent between now and the end of the season will take the league title." Leonardo Jardim (AS Monaco coach): "We're always working in order to win. Perhaps after being 1-0 down, the draw isn't so bad, but we came here looking for the three points. The team tried their best to play a quality match, and it was a huge match Monaco and from Paris. The title race is very tight. It won't be until April or May that it will be won. This is the third time I've come to Paris. The first two times, we defended more than we attacked. Tonight it was more balanced." OGC Nice 3-1 EA Guingamp Lucien Favre (Nice coach): "It was a difficult game. Guingamp pressed us very high up the pitch. But we held firm in the second half despite their goal. We scored our three goals at key moments including the first two before the break. Guingamp did not have many chances but we backed off and we suffered. We must continue keep our level up throughout games and we will have a big one next Saturday in Monaco." Antoine Kombouaré (Guingamp coach): "The scoreline may suggest a very one-sided match but this was not the case. We have a lot of regrets. There was room to do better, and at least a draw. We pressed well but lacked control and the final touch. We had chances but were unable to take them. We saw the difference between a clinical team and a profligate one today. Nice scored three of their four shots." Toulouse FC 0-3 AS Saint-Etienne Pascal Dupraz (Toulouse coach): "Nothing is going right for us. We are getting punished for big mistakes. The team is young but they are playing like kids. We must be brave or we'll end up in the relegation places in a heartbeat. We risk throwing away our good start to the season. Everyone will have to do more to get out of this bad situation." Christophe Galtier (Saint-Etienne coach): "I'm very pleased with the team's results. I enjoyed the players' performance, this is their victory. They had the right ingredients to take on TSF, who are a tough team to play against even if they are struggling just now. My attackers were brilliant and I hope it 02/03/2017 Ligue de Football Professionnel - 2016/2017 - Ligue1.com 2

was not just for one game." Saturday, 28 January, 2016 Olympique Lyonnais 1-2 LOSC Bruno Genesio (Lyon coach): "It was an ugly evening because we've dropped three important points in terms of our challenge for a podium finish or better. We didn't deserve anything else over the course of the game as we only played in total for a single half and that's not enough. We thought that we'd be able to build on our great win over Marseille. Now we need to bounce back and buck up our ideas." Patrick Collot (Lille interim coach): "It was a beautiful evening. Even in our wildest dreams we had trouble thinking about coming here and winning. It's good in our position, as we needed points to move forward in the league. We came here with the idea of being organised and disciplined with three central defenders to cut down space in the middle. We had a lot of luck, illustrated by our first goal and by Valbuena hitting the bar for them." SC Bastia 1-1 SM Caen François Ciccolini (Bastia coach): "We played well in the first half but didn't kill off the game and that boosted our opponents. We lost the midfield battle in the second half. We could have lost but for Jean-Louis Leca producing good saves. I feel bitter after this and we hit the woodwork twice. We need to be more rigorous and more determined to break this run." Patrice Garande (Caen coach): "This point away from home is a good point. I have a few regrets given the way we played in the second half. In the first half Bastia could have scored one more. What I saw from us in the second half pleased me. We'll take positives from this game and what pleases me is that the players were disappointed at having taken just one point from an away game." FC Lorient 2-3 Dijon FCO Bernard Casoni (Lorient coach): "We didn't deal well with the scenario. We got back on terms and then went in front. Unfortunately we have only ourselves to blame. We're not strong enough psychologically. We haven't been left behind and this match will prove useful to us. We need to get something away from home and show more serenity." Olivier Dall'Oglio (Dijon coach): "I'd like to congratulate my players for turning the situation around and that wasn't easy to do against a Lorient side that can be very dangerous in attack. This was a massive performance and I'm very happy because we needed that. My squad is hanging in there and we want to stay in Ligue 1. This was our first away win and a very important victory in terms of staying up." AS Nancy Lorraine 0-2 Girondins de Bordeaux Pablo Correa (Nancy coach): "We weren't dominated and yet they won. This has been a week in which we've handed out presents. We need to get back to more simple things and play more effective football. We have no margin for error and my players know it. They're capable of good things. We need to keep working." Jocelyn Gourvennec (Bordeaux coach): "I got angry at half-time and the second half was very different. We took charge of the game and played differently. It had been quite a while since we'd won away from home. We've collected seven points from nine in 2017 and we're in a decent position. We are more convincing and consistent than we were in the weeks leading up to Christmas." Stade Rennais FC 1-1 FC Nantes Christian Gourcuff (Rennes coach): "It was kick and rush and that's not football that makes me dream. The ball spent three-quarters of the time in the air. We weren't able to get the ball down and play. We took a point but that's not the sort of game I'd come to the stadium to watch. We need to solve the problems our opponents are causing us." Sergio Conceiçao (Nantes coach): "I'm sad and frustrated because we played a fantastic match from a tactical standpoint. We played with intensity and scored in the first half and controlled Rennes easily. We had a few chances to kill the match in the second half and didn't convert them. We 02/03/2017 Ligue de Football Professionnel - 2016/2017 - Ligue1.com 3

conceded at the end and we didn't deserve that as we'd been much better than Rennes. We're on the right road." Angers SCO 2-1 FC Metz Serge Le Dizet (Angers assistant coach): "This is a relief. We came into it off the back of the Saint-Etienne game where we'd played well without being effective in the key areas. We spoke to the players pre-match about their mission and they showed extraordinary commitment. We still have to improve when it comes to taking our chances." Philippe Hinschberger (Metz coach): "At 11 against 10 it was already hard and it became impossible when we went down to nine players. Even when it was 11 v 11 we started badly. It was a miracle we equalised but we weren't able to stay level for more than two minutes." Friday, 27 January, 2016 Olympique de Marseille 5-1 Montpellier Hérault SC Rudi Garcia (Marseille coach): "It's not a kickstart, it's a response. We really wanted to get back to winning ways. We wanted to make amends, show the sort of team we can be. It's very nice to score five goals at the Vélodrome, to make our fans happy. Our first half was top class, but the first 20 minutes of the second were not good. We sat back too much, let Montpellier into it. But it's a great win in the end. Let it serve as a lesson that we have to be dominant for 95 minutes." Frédéric Hantz (Montpellier coach): "It's a harsh scoreline given our intentions, but it wasn't in the sense that it's happened before. We weren't good at either end of the pitch, we conceded very early, and then had chances. We had nine shots on target, which is a record for us this season. It's harsh, but it also reflects the difference between the two sides. We're having an extremely difficult January for a whole bunch of reasons. But I have said since the start that our season will be played out between 4 February and 11 March. It's difficult to explain our inconsistency. We've started January badly, we're lacking confidence. We're going to be in the relegation fight. We know that, and we need to stay together and work hard." Payet heads home to OM! France international forward Dimitri Payet has completed a 29 million Euro, five-and-a-half-year move to Olympique de Marseille, the club he left for West Ham United in 2015. Defender Grégory Sertic has also signed on. Payet went from strength to strength after his move to EPL side West Ham United but, citing family reasons, the attacking midfielder had to battle the club for a return to France and, on Monday, a 29 million Euro deal was struck to tie the France international to the ambitious southern giants for the next five and a half years. "I'm evidently very happy to be able to return here," said Payet as he was presented to the press at the club where he was a firm fan favourite, scoring 15 goals in 72 appearances between 2013 and 2015. "It's a club I know well and this is what I wanted. I want to thank everyone who was involved in the transfer. My choice was clear form the beginning: I wanted to come back here and be a part of the project that is starting. There was a lot of confidence and seriousness in what the club's directors had to say, and the opportunity arose at a time when I was missing France a lot." The move will see Payet reunited with coach Rudi Garcia, under whom he played during his stint at Lille between 2011 and 2013, and he will be eligible to join the first team immediately, meaning he could figure as OM take on Lyon in the Coupe de France - the second 'Olympico' in as many weeks. With Payet's arrival - which came hot on the heels of the signature of France international left-back Patrice Evra - new OM owner Frank McCourt's 'OM Champions' project looks to be hitting its straps. This uptick in optimism and impetus at the club has also attracted Bordeaux captain Grégory Sertic to leave the club whose youth academy he attended from the age of 16. The former France U21 defence/midfield utility, whose contract was set to expire at the end of the current season, has 02/03/2017 Ligue de Football Professionnel - 2016/2017 - Ligue1.com 4

signed a three-and-a-half-year deal worth a reported 2 million Euros. Montpellier show Hantz the door Montpellier have relieved head coach Frédéric Hantz of his functions, replacing him with the interim duo of Jean-Louis Gasset and Ghislain Printant following the side's 5-1 humiliation in Marseille on Friday. Montpellier HSC have announced that head coach Frédéric Hantz has been sacked, with immediate effect, and will be replaced by former players Jean-Louis Gasset and Ghislain Printant. Hantz, appointed to replace Rolland Courbis in January of 2016, helped the club beat the drop in season 2015-16. However, the team have proven erratic in the current campaign and, after a 5-1 battering in Marseille capped a winless month of January, president Louis Nicollin opted to make a change at the helm of the senior team. "Montpellier Hérault Sport Club is aware of the gravity of the club's current sporting situation, as well as the foreseeable consequences. This gravity has forced our hand, given our concern for the players," read a communiqué published by the club on Monday. "As a consequence, we are announcing that head coach Frédéric Hantz and his assistant Arnaud Cormier have been relieved of their duties and will be paid out of their contracts. We have asked former MHSC players Jean-Louis Gasset and Ghislain Printant, who are both well qualified, to run the rule over our sporting situation in order to determine an urgent solution." Gasset, who spent his entire playing career with La Paillade before becoming assistant coach and, for one season, head honcho, is currently an assistant coach with Paris Saint-Germain while Printant was in charge of the club's reserve side between 2006 and 2010 and is a former coach of SC Bastia. The duo's first test comes in Saturday's Week 23 clash at home to SC Bastia, when they will be looking to help the club widen their extremely slim one-point lead over 18th-placed SM Caen. 02/03/2017 Ligue de Football Professionnel - 2016/2017 - Ligue1.com 5

COUPE DE FRANCE Doria does it for OM! As Dimitri Payet made his second Marseille debut, it was defender Doria who starred with an extra-time wonder-goal that clinched a 2-1 victory over Olympico rivals Lyon - and a place in the round of 16. Tuesday, January 31, 2017 Coupe de France, round of 32 Stade Vélodrome, Marseille Olympique de Marseile 2-1 Olympique Lyonnais (a.e.t.) Marseille's 'OM Champions' project has been bolstered by some big-name signings in the last week - notably those of Patrice Evra and Dimitri Payet - and while the former West Ham forward was rushed into the squad for this 'Olympian' cup tie against Lyon just a day after returning the Stade Vélodrome, it was Brazilian substitute Doria - who spent two yers on the outer at the Mediterranean club - who proved the hero. After stopper Rod Fanni had opened the scoring for OM with a header fro Maxime Lopez's corner (24'), Lyon's Corentin Tolisso got the breathless encounter back on level terms as he slotted home at the far post (64'). Locked at 1-1, the match went into extra time and OM boss Rudi Garcia brought Payet on for Florian Thauvin as the excitement reached fever pitch in the Stade Vélodrome. Nabil Fekir forced a strong save from Yohan Pelé (105') as OL threatened to come from behind and pinch the win, but it wasn't to be for Bruno Genesio and his men. After the excellent Rémy Cabella broke down the right and curled a cross to the penalty spot, Doria - who had come on for the injured Patrice Evra early in the second half - escaped the attentions of Rafael and smashed a side-footed volley in off the underside of the bar to send his resurgent side into the competition's round of 16. Earlier in the evening, three other Ligue 1 sides had won through to the round of 16: Bordeaux, who beat Dijon 2-1 thanks to a last-gasp strike from Gaëtan Laborde (90'+2); LOSC, who had Sébastien Corchia's late penalty (81', pen.) to thank for a 1-0 win at home to Nantes; and Lorient, for whom Cafu's double, the second of which came in extra time (112', pen.), clinched a 3-2 win over National (D3) side Châteauroux after twice going behind on the scoreboard. Paris blast into last 16, Monaco survive scare A re-jigged Paris Saint-Germain beat Rennes 4-0 to qualify for the last 16; AS Monaco edged a nine-goal thriller against minnows side FC Chambly. After their 1-1 league draw with Monaco on Sunday night, Paris Saint-Germain were looking to bounce back and - thanks to a superb performance from a much-changed line-up, notably two-goal Julian Draxler, the capital club made short work of Rennes at Roazhon Park. Germany international Draxler drew first blood with a superb control and chipped finish after being played through by an inch-perfect long ball from captain on the night Thiago Motta (27'). Despite being without Edinson Cavani, Marco Verratti, Thiago Silva, Thomas Meunier and Angel Di Maria, Unai Emery's men fully exploited their early advantage, with Lucas firing home crisply (38') before Draxler completed his double with a fine finish (68'). After setting up Lucas and Draxler for his second, Hatem Ben Arfa, playing at centre-forward in place of Cavani, completed an excellent night for both him and the capital club by turning scorer when Javier Pastore picked him out with a quickly taken free-kick that made it 4-0 and put Paris' place in the last 16 beyond a shadow of a doubt (90'). FC Chambly 4-5 AS Monaco Monaco went close to following up on their impressive display against Paris by crashing out of the competition away to third-division side FC Chambly. Despite being 3-0 up when Kylian Mbappé struck just after the break (48'), Leonardo Jardim's men allowed minnows Chambly to score three second-half goals and force extra time. The principality club re-took the initiative, with Kévin N'Doram (96') and Kamil Glik (103') making it 5-3, but the Ligue 1 leaders had to ride their nerves right up to the final whistle after Romain Padovani pulled his side back to within a goal with a superb first-time finish (111'). Meanwhile, Angers SCO put their league struggles to one side as they disposed of top-flight rivals SM Caen 3-1 at home, thanks largely to a Thomas Mangani double from the spot (15', pen.; 82', pen.). EA Guingamp needed extra time but managed to trump ten-man National (D3) outfit Les Herbiers 2-1 thanks to winter transfer window signing Mathieu Bodmer's maiden strike for the club, in the 113th minute. Saint-Etienne suffered the shock of the round as they were outclassed 3-0 away to attack-minded 2015 finalists AJ Auxerre (Ligue 2); AS Nancy Lorraine saw their cup dream end with a 2-0 defeat to National (D3) side CA Bastia. Last-32 reactions - Emery: 'Maintain our team spirit' PSG boss Unai Emery was thrilled with his side's 4-0 qualification for the last 16 at the expense of Rennes, while Monaco's Leonardo Jardim hailed his youngsters after the 5-4 (a.e.t.) win over Chambly. Wednesday, February 1, 2017 Coupe de France, round of 32 Stade Rennais 0-4 Paris Saint-Germain Christian Gourcuff (Stade Rennais coach): "What bothers me the most is that, over and above the individual technical and physical differences that we expected, it's in terms of the collective that we are behind the others. As soon as they started to accelerate and create chances, it became too easy for them. There is no emotional reaction; there was no match as far as we were concerned." Unai Emery (Paris Saint-Germain coach): "This is the 100th edition of the competition and we want to win the trophy and have a good run for our fans. When you play a lot of matches in a short space of time, it's great when the players who don't play so much come in and play with the mentality that you want to see. Alphonse Areola kept a clean sheet, we scored four goals - including one for Hatem Ben Arfa - and Javier Pastore made a good return after several weeks out. Those are the kind of things we want in order to maintain our team spirit." FC Chambly 4-5 AS Monaco (a.e.t.) Leonardo Jardim (AS Monaco coach): "We achieved our objective. It was a tough match. I had to rotate my squad and the youngsters got a chance to play. With a lot of sacrifices, we won. We played well in the first half of extra time and that saw us through. We got a scare but our goals in extra time 02/03/2017 Ligue de Football Professionnel - 2016/2017 - Ligue1.com 7

killed off the match." Angers SCO 3-1 SM Caen Stéphane Moulin (Angers SCO coach): "Up until Caen's equaliser, I didn't think much bad could happen to us. I think we're about to go into the record books, as this was the fourth match in a row in which we scored and own-goal to level the scores. But I have to congratulate my players, as they were able to say, 'it's not that bad' and get on with the match. The players have sent a lot of positive signals since the beginning of the year." Patrice Garande (SM Caen coach): "My main feeling is disappointment. The second penalty killed us. Still, our game went to water and we could have conceded more goals. But up to that point, we were right in this cup tie. We came here to get the win and we did well at times, but it wasn't enough." Vendée Les Herbiers 1-2 EA Guingamp (a.e.t.) Antoine Kombouaré (EA Guingamp coach): "We got the job done. We came here to qualify for the next round. Congratulations to Hebiers, who pushed us into extra time with a strong performance. We dominated but it was a match full of wasted chances. We couldn't score the second goal to kill off the match. We expected a tough match and that's what we got." AJ Auxerre 3-0 AS Saint-Etienne Christophe Galtier (AS Saint-Etienne coach): "Overall, Auxerre deserved to qualify. Status goes out the window in Coupe de France matches. Ligue 2 players work just hard a Ligue 1 players. We never managed to find the chink in their armour; we weren't dangerous and we were punished for that." CA Bastia 2-0 AS Nancy Lorraine Pablo Correa (AS Nancy Lorraine coach): "It was a very weak performance from us. The side who wanted it more won. CA Bastia were far from overwhelmed by the occasion; in fact, it was the other way around. Tonight we saw the limitations of my squad, especially when we have injury absentees. Now we can focus solely on the league." Tuesday, January 31, 2017 Olympique de Marseile 2-1 Olympique Lyonnais (a.e.t.) Rudi Garcia (Olympique de Marseille coach): "We qualified, so I's mission accomplished. When you have a Vélodrome like that, with more than 50,000 people in it galvanising the team, it gives you power. The players were up for a fight and they really wanted to beat Lyon. The match against Montpellier [5-1 in Ligue 1's Week 22] did us a lot of good and tonight we saw 14 warriors out on the pitch. We needed to be there in the challenges, and we were. We fought very hard to win the ball back." Dimitri Payet (Olympique de Marseille midfielder): "The Vélodrome was just the way it was when I left. What did I feel wen I took the pitch? Shivers. It was exceptional. Tonight we saw that we can mix it with teams like Lyon, even though we must be careful not to get carried away because we have a lot of work still to do. Personally, I really felt that I didn't have much in my legs, but that's to be expected. I'll need a bit of time because I haven't played for a month or so." Bruno Genesio (Olympique Lyonnais coach): "It's a huge disappointment. Another disappointment. We need to lift our heads and learn our lessons for the next match. It played out on a small detail tonight. Each team had the upper hand for a while and it was evenly balanced in extra time. Sunday's derby with Saint-Etienne is another kettle of fish completely. But it really hurts to be knocked out of the Coupe de France." LOSC 1-0 FC Nantes Patrick Collot (LOSC coach): "It was a tough match, a tight match, but we qualified. We're focusing on the fact that we're through, not on how we did it. That's the main thing. We struggled to threaten Nantes in the first half due to our lack of experience and drive to get forward. The youngsters wanted to stay in their position so we wouldn't lose our shape. We got a penalty in the second half, but what bothered me the most was my team's lack of 02/03/2017 Ligue de Football Professionnel - 2016/2017 - Ligue1.com 8

enterprise." Sergio Conceicao (FC Nantes coach): "I didn't like this match. We played badly; we were weak. I respect our opponents, but they didn't put us in danger. They were hardly ever in our penalty area. And we had seven chances that we failed to put away. But that's how it goes." Girondins de Bordeaux 2-1 Dijon FCO Gaëtan Laborde (Girondins de Bordeaux forward): "We knew it would be a hard-fought match. It's never easy. Just like in the league, we managed to make the difference at the death. We're struggling to kill matches off at the moment. Our instructions were to score and kill it off. Scoring is great for my confidence." Olivier Dall'Oglio (Dijon FC coach): "I'm unhappy with how the match ended. That's to be expected. We managed to get back into it and we knew we would have very few chances. Bordeaux were in control but they didn't have a plethora of chances. We were effective but we slipped up in the final seconds."
