Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The Henry County Alumnae Chapter Presents HCAC DRUGS*ALCOHOL*TOBACCO Thank you for agreeing to participate in our 10 th Annual Stomp D.A.T. Youth Step Show. Your complete team packet includes the following items: 1. One (1) Electronic Promotional Event Flyer You may make as many additional copies of the flyer as you need. 2. Each team will be required to submit a non-refundable $45 registration fee for participation in the event. The registration form and monies must be received before any tickets will be distributed to the team for selling. Once your registration fee has been received, twenty (20) Event Tickets will be mailed to your school as addressed on the registration form. Each team is required to sell a minimum of 20 tickets. The deadline for payment of the 20 tickets is February 21, 2015. You may request more tickets after you have paid the $200 minimum at any time before the day of the show. A cash prize will be awarded in each division. There will also be a cash prize awarded to the team that sells the most tickets prior to the event. Tickets purchased at the door will not count towards this award. 3. Team List Return the finalized list of competing members by February, 2015. *Return to Sharon Soogrim by email at stompdat@yahoo.com 4. Liability Waiver Make the necessary copies and complete a waiver for each member of your team. All completed liability waivers are due upon check-in the day of the show. All completed liability waivers should be turned in with the finalized team list and MC Introduction form by February 21. The completed forms can be scanned and emailed to stompdat@yahoo.com They can also be faxed to (404) 773-0807. *Absolutely no waivers may be signed during the check-in process* 5. Scoring Teams will be judged by Pan-Hellenic Greek judges and or dance/step affiliates based on: Intro Outro Attire Originality Vocal clarity Attitude Precision Facial expressions Difficulty of routine Incorporation of the Stomp DAT theme 1. The highest and lowest score for each team will be omitted to ensure impartiality. 2. In the event of a tie, every judge will be given one written vote to determine the winner. 3. No score sheets will be released. Comment sheets will be emailed to the teams after the show if requested by email. Rules Each performance should be no more than 7 minutes in length. No greek symbols or names representing sororities or fraternities may be worn or displayed in any manner. No hazardous, flammable, or potentially dangerous materials or props allowed. No fire, water, or confetti allowed. No throwing items into the audience. No wooden sole shoes. Penalties Each minute over the time limit will result in a five (5) point deduction. The points will be deducted in fractional parts of a minute rounded to the nearest quarter (i.e. 15 seconds over time = 0.25 point deduction). Justification for Automatic Disqualification
1. Ticket money and/or liability waiver not turned in 2. Use of profanity, sexual gestures, or obscene music 3. Unsportsmanlike conduct (as determined by Event Chair) 4. Performing with less than five step team members 5. Performing less than five minutes 6.
