Welcome Prayer / Dinner Highlights of the Winter Season GCAC Awards Booster Club Presentation Individual Program Awards Season Recap by Coaches Presentation of Participation Awards, Letters and GCAC Certificates Presentation of the Team Awards Thanks for a great winter season!

WINTER SEASON HIGHLIGHTS BASKETBALL VARSITY GCAC Record: 7-1. (17-12 Overall) Finished 3 rd in the IC Catholic Prep Thanksgiving Tournament. Won the Regional Championship Won the GCAC White Division The team had an excellent season winning their League and a Regional. This team never backed down from any opponent, playing one of the toughest 3A schedules in the State. BASKETBALL JUNIOR VARSITY GCAC Record: 4-3 (11-5 Overall) The team finished second at the IC Tournament All players improved and blended as a team. The team fought through injuries to emerge successful. Everyone had fun and created great memories. BASKETBALL FRESHMEN GCAC Record: 2-4 Overall Record: 8-18 The freshmen basketball players learned to trust each other and work together as a team. The team had a successful run in the GCAC tournament. They defeated Fenwick on their way to finishing 4 th place overall.

BOWLING VARSITY The Varsity Bowling Team had a record of 9 wins and 1 loss in the GCAC regular season. The overall record when including non-conference matches was 11 wins and 1 loss. The team competed with great success this year: o GCAC Tournament 1 st Place Champions (This is the 11 th time in the last 12 years!!!) o IHSA State Regional 3 rd Place Overall o IHSA State Sectional 10 th Place Overall The Varsity bowlers had several successes as individuals: o Kathleen Serrano GCAC All-Conference GCAC Tournament 1 st Place Overall IHSA Regional 8 th Place Overall o Samantha Dahlstrom GCAC Tournament 2 nd Place Overall IHSA Regional 9 th Place Overall o Kayla Vargas GCAC All-Conference GCAC Tournament 11 th Place Overall IHSA Regional 13 th Place Overall o Mairead Dunne GCAC Tournament 4 th Place Overall

BOWLING JUNIOR VARSITY The Junior Varsity Bowling Team went 10-0 in GCAC League play, winning 47 of 50 games. The team won the 2017 GCAC JV Championship Tournament, bowling their two highest series all season at 2002 pins for the morning series and 2002 pins for the afternoon series. Samantha Stefanski placed 1 st at the JV GCAC Championships Individually averaging 163 for the day. Cassidy Yarwood was 2 nd, Becky Gawlinski was 7 th, Skylar Wilke was 18 th, and Valeria Colin was 19 th. It was a huge team effort and everyone contributed to the victory.

GCAC ALL-CONFERENCE ACADEMIC AWARD RECIPIENTS Recipients are upperclassmen who have maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher at the varsity level of competition BASKETBALL Danielle LaSusa, Samantha Dias, Madison Van Horn, Gabriella O Hehir BOWLING Kathleen Serrano, Samantha Dahlstrom, Mairead Dunne, Janna George, Kayla Vargas GCAC ALL-CONFERENCE ATHLETIC AWARD RECIPIENTS The recipients of this award have been recognized and chosen by the coaches of the GCAC for their exemplary athletic ability at the varsity level BASKETBALL Veronica Kieres, Danielle LaSusa, Cori Thompson BOWLING Kathleen Serrano, Kayla Vargas, Janna George GCAC ATHLETE OF THE YEAR The recipients of this award have been chosen by the GCAC as the most outstanding athlete in the conference.
