ASSISTING PARTNERS SUCCESS MEASURES LONG-TERM ENTHUSIASM Lidl Sponsor, snacks for children Europcar Transport and logistics Lapland Hotels Accomodation Support Ministry of Education and Culture Financial Support Start Ski Wax Provision of equipment Karhu Euqipment support Source Marketing Communication and marketing support Ski Clubs and local sport institutes Provision of venues and facilities to stage events, teaching the children during the events Success is measured with the number of participants at elementary school events, the Snowfun Ski Schools and Workshops. For example, is it possible to accommodate 200 schoolkids for the event. As well as measuring participants at events, after events we analyze the new participants. Questions are asked to gather data on how they enjoyed the event and what can be improved. So in essence the quality is measured by the participants, the kids! The project was launched by the Finnish Ski and Biathlon Association. All people involved have a long term vision. The is evidenced by the creation of skill videos, education plan and ski school instructions which are all long term impact actions. Moreover the primary sponsor, The Ministry for Culture and Education, has committed funding to 2018. Information
PROJECT QUALITY TRANSFERABILITY COMMERCIAL VIABILITY All stops of the tour are operated by trained professionals and supervised by teachers. This provides the highest standard of quality. Moreover having the support by The Ministry for Culture and Education demands that the project is well planned, executed and reported on. The project can be replicated in any other country. The basic is the concept planning and the element production and also material production for the ski clubs and teachers. Afterwards it is only a co-operation with ski clubs, local schools and community, which offers the skiing areas and can help with the marketing the event for the schools and families. Project is planned the way that it is easy to promote for children. The project has its own character, Blizz, and also own logos. All materials are well planned and implemented with high quality. The project has also own website and social media channels, facebook, instagram and twitter. As a material bank for the videos we use FSA s LUMISPORT TV (YouTube channel).
