MAXimum Commitment Coaches for the 2012-2013 Season Cory Jones Head Coach/Coaching Director: Cory has coached volleyball players of all ages and skill levels for over 15 years. This will be his 3 rd season with Club Max. His experience includes college camps, beach, and Juniors teams. Cory started and directed the first junior club volleyball program for the JCC of Dallas. After a pause in coaching, joined ASA ClubMax in 2011 as Head Coach for 13 Elite. Cory brings a positive, up tempo approach to all programs. Cory is USAV IMPACT and CAP I certified. David Bauchert Head Coach: David has been coaching volleyball with ASA for the past 6 years and has over 25 years of volleyball experience as both a player and coach. He served as Head Coach of the ASA Club Max 13U National team the past two seasons, and will move to 14 National this year. David has been involved with ASA Club Max since its founding. His successes include 2 Top 10 NTR teams. David has played competitively in all varieties of volleyball sand, grass, indoor, doubles, triples, sixes, men s and co-ed. David is USAV IMPACT and CAP I certified.

MAXimum Commitment Iris Miranda Head Coach Iris has over 15 years of volleyball experience as both a player and coach. She earned all area honors during her High School career, and played club volleyball at UTD. This will be her third year with Club Max. Iris teams enjoy consistent success, including a 4 th place finish in the American Division of the Lone Star Classic, the highest Club Max qualifier finish to date. Iris also coaches volleyball at Lucas Christian Academy. Iris is USAV IMPACT and CAP 1 certified. Mark Breese Head Coach Mark has coached youth volleyball through ASA ranging from 2 nd grade through High School and has served as the ASA Volleyball Commissioner for the past three years. Mark has coached middle and high school teams through the Home School Athletic Association. He has instilled a love of volleyball to many, including his four daughters. Mark is USAV IMPACT and CAP 1 certified.

MAXimum Commitment Sherry Ounekeo Head Coach Sherry brings many years of experience as both player and coach to Club Max. She played competitive collegiate club volleyball at Texas A&M University and the University of Texas at Dallas. Sherry has played internationally, competing for Université Stendhal-Grenoble III and the city of La Rochelle in France. Sherry served as head coach of two teams last season, and lead three Club Max teams in the Plano Volleyball Association summer league. She is USAV IMPACT certified. Krista Gibson Head Coach This will be Krista s first season with Club Max. She combines her natural ability with positive coaching, with predictably good results. In high school, Krista was selected to the 5A State All Tournament team as a senior, and continued her volleyball career at Sam Houston State University where she led the team in Assists her senior year. She has coached numerous club and competitive teams in North Texas and beyond. Krista is USAV IMPACT certified.

MAXimum Commitment Dan Robinson Head Coach Dan returns to Club Max, having coached Club Max 14 Black during the 2010-2011 season. He brings an extensive knowledge of the game as both player and coach to the club. Dan played club volleyball while in college and still plays competitively today. He has coached in the Rocky Mountain Region as well as North Texas. Dan s focus is on proper skills techniques and game strategy. Dan is USAV IMPACT and CAP 1 certified. Lana Mitchell Head Coach Lana offers an amazing background, having taken numerous teams to Nationals with both Victory and TAV. Lana currently coaches the top JV team at Hebron as well as assisting with Varsity. Lana is USAV IMPACT certified.

Team Structure Each team will fall into the following levels of play. Select, Elite and National could field team in any age group. Developmental Beginner players who are ready for club play but need additional training to refine their skills. Select Intermediate players who are ready for club. Will play in select local tournaments only, no qualifiers. Elite Skilled club players on non-travel teams. Will play in Lone Star National Qualifier. National Top level players who have played club previously and will compete in Lone Star plus one out of state qualifying tournament OR Tour of Texas.
