Trap Match Well we sure dodged the bullet. The clouds came along with some really bad wind, but no rain. How lucky can you get? The wind sure put the test on our shooters, no one made A Class. The top guns for the day are Richie Long and Ben Jones tied with a score of 43 to take B Class. Rich Rossi took C Class with a score of 38. We had a very nice young lady, Chelsea Powell to show us how to shoot in the wind, she took D Class with a score of 31. I would like to thank Jerry DiGiovanni for doing a great job of scoring. Also would like to thank Dave Ernst, Pat Childers, Richie Long, Jason Harris and Rich Rossi and everyone else for all their help. With their help it made a great day at Buccaneer. Brad Powell of Chinquapin brought a good ole boy Stan Bodzinski from "Chinkypin" who could really shoot...all competitors shot the Defensive pistol class from 10 and 15 yards...stan ruled the class with 370 points with William George coming in just behind with a 350... William George shot a best ever mover score of 435-14x, a personal best... Stan "Good ole Boy" Bodzinski shot a 268-4x which doesn't sound like much but he only had 36 rounds of 45 to shoot...if I'd had any I would have given them to him just to see what he could have done...the 2 runs had at 15 yards were all 8's and 10's... Also I coerced Williams wife to shoot the mover and now she's hooked... Scores went like this... Moving Target W. George 435-14x M. Yandel 375-4x R. Kelly 313-6x S. Bodzinski 268-4x B. Cowboy Match Regulator Gazette May 1897 Cowboys and cowgirls are the same no matter which state they are from... Georgia The owner of a golf course in Georgia was confused about paying an invoice, so he decided to ask his cowgirl secretary for some mathematical help. He called her into his office and said, "Y all graduated from the University of Georgia and I need some help. If I wuz to give yew $20,000, minus 14%, how much would you take off?" The Cowgirl thought a moment, and then replied, "Everthang but my earrings. Louisiana A cowboy in Louisiana was overheard saying, "When the end of the world comes, I hope to be in Louisiana..." When asked why, he replied, "I d rather be in Louisiana cause everythang happens in Louisiana 20 years later than in the rest of the world." Mississippi The young cowboy from Mississippi came running into the store and said to his buddy, "Bubba, somebody just stole your pickup truck from the parking lot!" Bubba replied, "Did y all see who it was?" The young man answered, "I couldn t tell, but I got the license number." North Carolina A cowboy in North Carolina had a flat tire, pulled off on the side of the road, and proceeded to put a bouquet of flowers in front of the car and one behind it. Then he got back in the car to wait. A passerby studied the scene as he drove by, and was so curious he turned around and went back. He asked the fellow what the problem was. The man replied, "I got a flat tahr. The passerby asked, "But what s with the flowers?" The man responded, "When you break down they tell you to put flares in the front and flares in the back. I never did understand it neither." Tennessee A Tennessee State trooper pulled over a cowboy in a pickup on I-65. The trooper asked, "Got any ID?" The driver replied, "Bout whut?" Texas The Sheriff pulled up next to the cowboy unloading garbage out of his pick-up into the ditch. The Sheriff asked, "Why are you dumping garbage in the ditch? Don t you see that sign right over your head." "Yep," he replied. "That s why I m dumpin it here, cause it says: Fine For Dumping Garbage.
