TEAM BUILDING GUIDE

THE PULLMAN CHALLENGE 6 Activities over a 3 hour period: INTRODUCTION: The time to show how to survive together as a team. The activities encourage ideas sharing, brainstorming, planning and making everyone happy to survive together! OVERVIEW: All activities are designed to both bring teams together and to bring out their competitive edge. Team activities teach us about personal and team motivation in order to achieve success in everyday business. Duration: Price: (per person) A selection of activities may result in either 2hr or 3hr activities or half day or full day events. 10 to 20 pax THB 1,000 21 to 40 pax THB 800

1. COCKTAIL BUCKET 2. TEAM TRAVEL 5 to 6 people per team Up to 8 people per team Each team brings the water bucket from the start point to the finish point, using only the equipment provided. Team must travel together from the start position to the end position. Challenge: Time: All team members are blindfolded (except one). Communication and listening skills are tested along with natural leadership and teamwork. 20 min (including briefing) Challenge: Time: All team members must remain standing on the equipment provided (newspaper and bucket). No team member must touch the ground or the team is out. A good test of teamwork and collective thinking 20 min (including briefing)

3. PICASSO AT HEART 4. TRIVER CRUISE 6 people per team 6 to 10 people per team Challenge: Time: To draw the most accurate picture of (select topic- ie. hotel, boat, car, this is to be themed by the company). Team are provided a rope and one pen per team member. Team are to place a piece of paper between them on the ground and draw the selected picture on it. No team members are permitted to touch the pen directly. Team coordination test 20 min (including briefing) Challenge: Time: Teams are to cross a makeshift river using only the equipment provided. All group members travel from the start point to the end point without touching the ground (river). The group must carry all the equipment to the other side. A physically demanding challenge that will test patience and teamwork. 20 min (including briefing)

5. IN AND OUT 6. SPIDER WEB 6 people per team 6 to 8 people per team Challenge: Bring the ball from starting point and put it into the pipe using only the equipment provided. The balls must then be again removed from the pipe and returned to the starting point. No team member is to touch the ball with any part of their body and the ball must not touch the ground. Any team members with the ball must stand completely still. Challenge: All team members are to get from one side of the spider web to the other. Team members start on one side of the spider web and are to lift or slide one person through the spider web without touching the threads. All team members must use different holes. If any team member touches the spider web they must start again. PULLMAN BEACH OLYMPICS The greatest time is to show team energy. Best for burning energy with unique crazy sport games and beat the others by showing the meaning of Teamwork. Teams of 4 to 6 Duration: Price: (per person) Challenge and compete with one another to win the beach Olympics. Groups can select to have fun with the real sport or non-sport activities that ensure everyone can join the games. 3 hours 10 to 20 pax THB 800 21 to 40 pax THB 600 Games include: Beach Soccer, Beach Bowling, Water Volleyball, Jump Rope Record,Team Skiing, Tug of War and many more

A CULTURE CHALLENGE COPY CAT Duration: Duration: Price: (per person) Unlimited A dedicated 3hr teambuilding experience designed to encourage allocation of resources, develop quality control, utilize peoples natural strengths, encourage detailed/open communication and use existing skill sets to achieve specific goals, learn and try new skills on behalf of the team and work together under pressure towards a set goal. Each participant will be given a specific task which is vital to the overall success of the team. The program will start with some ice breakers and energizers. Participants will be then broken into smaller teams who will compete against each other in the cultural challenge. Each team is given a table with specific items including; Thai cultural items: Watermelon Carving, Batik Sarong, Bowl of Tom Yum Goong, Origami Leaf Fish and Hand Painted Umbrella. The team challenge is to replicate these items as closely as they can in 90 minutes. Facilitators are left with each team to offer support and guidance. At the end of the time allocation the chefs and the recreation team will judge the items based on 2 criteria: output and teamwork. The teams must allocate the correct people for the right tasks and monitor the progress, quality control is important and each member will have a specific task to achieve. This activity serves as a metaphor for the work place and is thus a big responsibility, all efforts will be given a reasonable score, nobody will be made to feel that they failed! 3 hours 10 to 20 pax THB 1,200 21 to 40 pax THB 900

AMAZING RACE One for all, all for one This activity is best for the group who want to have fun by working as a team - brainstorming, working together, listening, and experiencing situational leadership. Duration: Price: (per person) All games have been designed for groups to have fun and challenge, also to compete with others. 3 hours (additional hours may be charged @ THB100 per person per hour) 10 to 20 pax THB 800 21 to 40 pax THB 600

Land skiing The team has to wear a long pair of shoes and have to walk in the same step to the destination assigned. The fastest is the winner. Tug-of-War/Multi Tug of War Fun, physically demanding, competitive team activity. Several Teams pull against each other, requiring communication and tactics as well as strength to outmaneuver and win. Stick Passing Relay Each team forms a circle and will be given a stick to put in between their knees. The challenge is to pass the stick with their knees without touching it or dropping it on the ground. The purpose of this exercise is to work as a team and to have fun. Helping duck Each team receive a tube with many holes and a rubber duck. The team challenge is to get water into the tube to make the duck float up on the top of tube. 100 Legs All team members tie their legs with a piece of cloth to form one long line. Two team members are selected to be blindfolded. They will have the challenge of bursting balloons with their feet as the rest of the team walk along in a line and guide them. Bucket Challenge Team members are provided with a bucked filled with water and tied to their waste with a rope. Their challenge is to fill a bigger bucket with the water by going back and forward. The team members must stay inside the mapped out area. The team members responsibility is to block the holes to keep the water inside the tube so that the duck can float out.

PIRATES OF THE ANDAMAN SEA WOW Treasure!! it s the best time to focus on developing relationships, brainstorming and working as a team to finish the challenge and to collect the treasure hunt clues. Duration: Price: (per person) Minimum 10 persons - maximum 40 persons Team members participate in a variety of challenges that will require them to brainstorm and think out of the box in order to collect the clues to lead their team to the treasure. 3 hours 10 to 20 pax THB 1,000 21 to 40 pax THB 800

PIRATES OF THE ANDAMAN SEA GAMES INCLUDE: 1. PIRATE FLAG MAKING Your team will be given a blank flag and color pens to make their own pirate flag. When the team finishes making the flag they will present the concept of the team and their team cheer. 2. 8X8 BOMBER SQUARE A grid is found on the ground and the team have to navigate their way through the grid. Some of the squares in the grid will contain bombs. If the team members steps into the grid with the bomb they will need to return to the beginning. The team members will only enter the grid one player at a time, that player being blindfolded and guided by the other players. All team members must pass through the grid before receiving the first treasure hunt clue. 3. LITTER MONKEY In this mission, one team member will be nominated as a monkey. The team will be presented with one end of a rope that is tied to a tree (approximately 2 meters above the ground). The monkey will then climb the rope to retrieve a flag that is in the tree. The other team members may not approach the tree. The monkey is not allowed to touch the ground or he/she will have to start again. The collection of the flag will result in the second clue being provided to the team for the treasure hunt.

PIRATES OF THE ANDAMAN SEA GAMES INCLUDE: 4. MAGIC PAGODA Team players have to move the six boxes that are stacked as a pagoda from the first table to the third table one by one. Each person takes turns moving boxes. The team must strategise to ensure the small boxes are on top of the bigger ones at all times. Once the team move the pagoda to the third table they will receive another clue for the treasure hunt. 5. BOMB CARRIER Every team member is given pipe and rope at the starting point.the team will be shown a bucket at the finishing point. The team members will be divided into 2 pax for this activity - the players will carry the pipe and rope between them. At the starting point a ping pong ball is placed in the pipe that is carried by the two players, the team has to manage to place the ping pong ball in the bucket at the finishing line. After the team places all of the ping pong balls in the bucket, they will receive another clue in the treasure hunt. 6. LOW TIDE AND HIGH TIDE The team are shown a large pipe with a treasure hunt clue placed in the water. All team players are given a piece of pipe to pour water into the big pipe until it overflows, allowing the clue to escape the pipe. AFTER GETTING THE TREASURE HUNT CLUES EACH TEAM PLAYER IS GIVEN 10 SECONDS TO UNLOCK THE TREASURE. TAKE TURNS TO UNLOCK THE TREASURE AND WIN!
