Members Only Fishing Contest Some things to remember about our Members Only Fishing contest: Musky must be at least 40 to qualify for Lunker of the Month awards for Mens and Womens Divisions, and any length for Juniors. I need a photo of the fish before the end of Jan. of 2018. Photos can be e-mailed to me at: muskypete@frontiernet.net. There are 8 divisions for Lunker of the Month: Mens, Mens Masters, Mens Hall of Fame, Womens, Womens Masters, Womens Hall of Fame, Juniors, and Juniors Hall of Fame. Once you win a division 3 times you move into the Hall of Fame. You may be in the Masters Division in Muskies Inc. but not in the Headwaters Masters because you need to win the Mens or Womens division in our chapter to move into the Masters Division. In Muskies Inc. you need to register 250 fish for Mens or 100 for Womens to be in the MI Masters. Big Fish of the Year awards go to the longest Musky in each of the 3 divisions, Mens, Womens, and Juniors. The free replicate goes to the person catching the longest musky in each division that has not won the award before. Photos needed. Fish must be registered with Muskies Inc. within 30 days of the fish being caught. If you can not register your fish on line, then you can send me your fish registration slip and I will register for you. Dale Peterson, 8247 Lost Lake Dr. W., St. Germain, WI 54558. Fish must be caught by legal means and during a legitimate Musky Season. Only released fish will be considered for the contest. Fish must be held in a horizontal position for photos to be included in the newsletter. A rod and reel is given away to some lucky angler that registered their fish. We do a drawing at the end of the year with all the fish registered for that year. Last year we had 813 fish registered and Troy Adler was the lucky angler with his 34 Musky, number 637 registered fish.
