Summer is winding down but it is not over yet...our first meeting of the season is just around the corner and it is September 16th and I am looking forward to seeing all of you. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the meeting begins at 7:00 PM. Why not join us for some fun and an adult beverage. Don't forget the New Image Contest. Deadline for submissions is September 30th. If there is a winner I will announce it at the October Meeting. Ski season will be upon us before you know it and there is no time like the present to start getting yourself in the best shape you can so you can. Our Trip chairs have been working very hard to plan our trips this year. Sooo you need to show up at the first meeting to hear all the exciting plans and where we will be going and to sign up. Our trips fill up quickly so don't delay. Just a note to everyone that if you have an event you wish to have published via the newsletter, news-blast or facebook please include the following information: Who is organizing it and a contact phone number in the event of questions. What is the event, Where it is ( address if possible) When the time or times of the event are scheduled. Makes life easier for everyone... NEW IMIAGE CONTEST The G E Ski Club is looking for a fresh new image. I am sure a lot of you have creativity in your blood. We are looking to produce a new stickers for the club and decided to ask the membership to create something fresh and exciting. Are you up for the challenge!! Rules: Must have a ski, outdoor theme. Something to do with what our club is all about. Put your creative juices to work. Remember we have been a Ski Club for 48 years. This is truly an accomplishment.
