For Exhibitors Showing Both 4-H and FFA Entry Baca County Fair Online Entry Instructions Important Reminders 1. All Baca County Fair entries for 4-H and FFA are due to the Extension Office or online no later than 4:30 p.m. on July 1st, 2017. Steps 1. Go to http://www.fairentry.com and click Find Your Fair. 2. Search keyword, Baca, and select the 2017 Baca County Fair. 3. Since you already have a 4HOnline account, you will use that same login. 4. 4HOnline users, click Edit by your name and begin adding entries. RegistrationMax LLC 6.7.16 1
5. Review your exhibitor information. If any information is incorrect, click the green Edit button in the appropriate group to change it. When all information is correct, click Continue to Entries. Creating Entries Each exhibitor can have multiple entries. One entry must be made for each item, animal, class, etc. For example, if an exhibitor is bringing 2 photographs, two entries into the photography class must be created. If an exhibitor is showing one horse in 5 events, five class entries must be created. Once all entries have been created for the first exhibitor, you have the choice of selecting another exhibitor in this family (and entries) or proceeding to check-out (submitting the entries). 1. 2. Click Select beside the first department you wish to enter. Departments in which you are not enrolled in, may appear, but attempting to enter into a class you are not permitted will be halted later in the process. All general projects will be under the 4-H Exhibits Department. Showmanship as well as market and Breeding animals will be under their specie's department (ie. Beef). 3. After you select a department, you will see a list of divisions to select from, and then a list of available classes. 4. After you have selected the class, click the green Continue button. General Projects Ensure that your 4-H Club is selected and click the green Continue button, again. Ensure that your 4-H Club is selected, check the box next to 449: Fashion Review Class, enter the quantity of exhibits you plan to model, and click the green Continue button. You may aslo be prompted to press a green Confirm Entries button to continue. *For all members who are enrolled and showing at the Baca County Fair in both FFA and 4-H it is improtant that you take note of the club you are currently entering under. For each entry, make sure you select the Club or Chapter associated with that entry. Example: If you are exhibiting a quilt in 4-H for that entry you will choose your 4-H club. If you are showing sheep for FFA, you will need to select your Chapter when making those entries. RegistrationMax LLC 6.7.16 3
Showmanship Ensure that your 4-H Club or FFA Chapter is selected, check the box next to class (age group) you wish to compete in, and click the Continue button. You will not have choose the animal you will use, but remember that you must exhibit in showmanship in all species you show in order to be eligible for premiums and sale at the Baca County Fair. Large Market Animals (Sheep, Goats, and Beef), Horses and Dog Trials Ensure that your 4-H Club of FFA Chapter is selected. Animals being shown as 4-H: You will now need to import your market animals that the office has already entered into 4-H Online. In the animals section of this page, click add animal. A pop up window with all animals will appear. Select all animals and press import. You should only have to import your animals once for each specie. Click the green, Import Animals button. All selected animals for this specie should now appear in the animals section. (If you are showing animals within the same species in both FFA and 4-H, enter all animals through 4-H and the office will make the appropriate changes in office. Animals being shown as FFA: You will need to create your show animals. In the animals section of this page, select enter single animal and click the blue add animal button. A pop up window will appear. Select animal type, enter a minimum of the tag number and click the green Save button. You will have to follow this process for each animal in each specie. All created animals for this specie should now appear in the animals section. In the animal section select an animal. In the class section, select the class you wish to enter the selected animal into. For Horses and Dog, this may be several classes. Click the green Continue button. RegistrationMax LLC 6.7.16 4
All Breeding Animals and Market Rabbits and Chickens Ensure that your 4-H Club or FFA Chapter is selected. In the animals section, select "I will specify animal(s) later. In the Class section, select the class you wish to enter as well as the number of times you wish to enter the class. Click the green Continue button. 5. When each class entry is complete, you have 3 choices for what to do next: a. If all class entries have been completed for one exhibitor, you can Register another Exhibitor in this family. b. If this exhibitor has more class entries to make, you can Add another Entry for this Exhibitor. c. If all entries for all exhibitors in the family have been completed, Continue to Payment to finalize and submit your entries. 6. Review your entries for completeness and accuracy. Notice the Summary and Detail buttons at the top of the list on the right. If there are errors, click on the green Entries section at the top of the page. 7. You will not owe any money (no fees are charged), but you must still click Continue to the last Confirm step to submit your entries. 8. Read the information in the After you Submit section. You may also have to check a box to Agree to Terms. Click Submit to finalize the entries for the exhibitors in this family. After you click Submit, no changes are possible to these entries.
