Dance Tips **Be sure to have you and your student fill out and sign the dance contract to turn in when they want to purchase a ticket. **You do not need to have a date to go to the Homecoming Dance. Many students go with a group of their friends. **Attire- boys usually wear slacks with a shirt and maybe a tie, some might wear a suit. Most girls will wear a dress, cocktail type, not a long dress. Please be sure to look over the dress code in the dance contract. **Some kids might go out to dinner prior to the dance.some won t. Some will gather for pre-parties where they might have some appetizers and take pictures. **Don t worry if your child doesn t want to go to the dance. Dances aren t for everyone. Some just don t enjoy that type of stuff and parents shouldn t be too concerned about that. Aren t there plenty of adults who don t really enjoy dancing? **It is always a good idea to talk to your child before the dance about making good choices. There will be consequences if they make bad ones and no one wants that.
