w w w.s tr e ets u r vi v o r s of m ar y l an d. co m NEWS & VIEWS JULY 2010 PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL 4TH SATURDAY CRUISE NIGHTS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED, ONLY FRIDAY NIGHTS. Members, I am glad to see that the weather is finally working with us and we have had some good cruise nights and hopefully it will continue throughout the summer. I want to thank everyone who has helped out in any way. The Swap Meet was a success and thanks to everyone who helped out. I especially want to thank Wayne Gerst for the use of his farm for the event. I had a good response about it and several have asked if we plan to do it again this year in the fall. Have a good summer and safe cruising. Rick Woolridge, President A few of us went to the Loch Raven Veterans Extended Care Facility on May 29 to put our cars on display for the vets. Bill Grammer, Rick Woolridge, Tom & Diane Pattan, James and Linda Helmick, James Helmick, Jr. and Dave Williams, Jonathan Pulver, Coleman with the green Mustang joined us and two members from the Chesapeake Corvette Club were there. We got to have lunch with the veterans. We talked with Barbara Swann and she is so delighted that the Street Survivors care so much about the Vets.
