TWINSTAR inhibits green algae effectively without a harmful influence on aquarium ecological environment, and keeps aquarium clean by eliminating spores from the initial propagation. Sterilizing factor with microbubbles destroy cell wall of green algae to inhibit growth, and it is nontoxic so harmless to aerobic bacteria. Promoting aquatic plants growth by inhibition of green algae on plants, those plants can elevate absorption of excess nutrients to block nourishment of green algae growth. Therefore it makes Virtuous Cycle ecological environment. Why plants grow well and faster with TWINSTAR? Law of minimum is the most important rule in botany. For plants growth several elements are needed (nutrients, moisture, temperature, light, etc.). 16 TWINSTAR Frequently Asked Questions What is a difference of each TWINSTAR models? We have two kind of products. One is to inhibit algae in aquarium, and another is to prevent aquarium fish and shrimp from disease. Is the IC same for all TWINSTAR models? IC has different design according to application. Inhibiting algae and to preventing disease have different way so we had to design different model on purpose. Both of disk and IC is all different for intensity and life span. What precautions should be taken before installing? For new setting aquarium, install TWINSTAR after removing soil dust completely. Because residues dust can shorten Reactor s life. Will PH affect product s effect? Ph will not affect product s effect, and TWINSTAR will not change PH. How long can TWINSTAR be used? TWINSTAR can be used continuously for more than 12 months. We also sell Reactor for replacement. What is the power consumption? It is less than 10w/h. What s the bubble when TWINSTAR is operating? It s pure oxygen. Will TWINSTAR affect nitrobactes? TWINSTAR will not affect nitrobactes. TWINSTAR can make plant grow healthy and increase dissolved oxygen. So density of nitrobactes also can also be increased. What s the sterilization principle of TWINSTAR? TWINSTAR can produce sterilizing factor by reacting water and destroy cell wall of green algae and fish disease to inhibit growth. Will TWINSTAR change PH or hardness of water? TWINSTAR has no influence on PH or hardness of water. Will TWINSTAR oxidize the iron? Will TWINSTAR affect nutrient? Will TWINSTAR make fertilizer lose efficacy? TWINSTAR can not oxidize the iron, but if putting too much Fe, Fe will absorb on the surface of Reactor and make Reactor shorten its lifespan. Please notice it when putting too much Fe. It is better if using general fertilizer. It is no problem to plant and TWINSTAR when we use ADA STEP 1/2/3 and Bright K for our test. There will be no problem if using fertilizer of other company. Will TWINSTAR make influence to some medicine containing aloe vera and vitamin C? Is there any effect? TWINSTAR will not affect them. What is the risk of human putting hands into the water when the product is in operation? It is no problem but we don t allow hands put in the aquarium when operating. Do TWINSTAR operate 24 hours a day? TWINSTAR can operate automatically to On/Off, and operate according to the changeable environment of aquarium.. Do I need to install additional timer? TWINSTAR need not install additional timer because it has automatic program. Why there are still moss happening even though installing TWINSTAR? Because there are not remaining toxic material basically. Can I put some salt into aquarium? TWINSTAR may stop operating if it is installed in areas where salt is present. How about product warranty? Consumables(Reactor) s warranty period is 6 months. The warranty period for Controller is one year. No warranty if the following items. There are soil dust or Fe on the surface of Reactor. (neglect of maintenance by consumer himself) There are calcium on the surface of Reactor. Damage to Reactor mesh because consumer using brush and so on. How is consumables lifespan? If using it in accordance with the instruction manual and clean it once every two weeks, can be used for more than one year. When power is cut-off TWINSTAR has automatic power cut-off system for protecting electronic circuit. The reason of power cut-off is that conductivity is too high. So please change water and reinstall TWINSTAR. 1. Led lamp is blinking normally, but bubble do not come out. 2. Please confirm if the power cord is connecting. 3. Please confirm if there are calcium absorbing on the surface of Reactor. 4. Please confirm if there are soil dust or Fe absorbing on the surface of Reactor.
