3 Ⅰ PRODUCT INTRODUCTION The top drive device is a new type of oil drilling equipment, revolutionized i the traditional rotary table Kelly stem drilling model, the drilling power (AC and DC motor or hydraulic motor) from the rig floor rotary table directly to the swivel, drilling string driven by the top directly. Drilling practice shows that the application of top drive device can save drilling time by 20% to 25%, and prevent sticking accidents. the economic benefits are especially significant that it apply especially for complicated drilling wells in horizontal and directional wells. 3

4 Ⅰ PRODUCT INTRODUCTION BOMCO is the first manufacturer to research & develop the TDS in china, BOMCO made the first DQ-60D top drive device in 1995.With 20 years continuously research and development, a series of top drive units with rated load of 600kN to 6750kN have been developed. such as DC type, AC type, hydraulics type etc, which are designed for different requirements of drilling and workover rigs. 7 Ⅰ PRODUCT INTRODUCTION Direct Drive Electric Top Drive DQ30/1800DBZ TDS The TDS using 1set 420 kw hollow AC motor as power source, and directly drives the TDS center tube (main shaft) to drive drilling pipe for drilling; The maximum output speed is 300 r/min which has the characteristics of high torque and high speed; There is a side double guide and a slide block type guide pulley; suit for the requirements of hydraulic elevators; it can be used for drilling rig with nominal 3000 meters drilling depth. The DC TDS has been applied in Daqing 30DB automatic drilling rig, from rig site feedback, the TDS working with a good performance. 7

9 Ⅰ PRODUCT INTRODUCTION AC Electric Top Drive-- Single Motor KDQ40/2250DB Top Drive device The top drive adopts a single AC variable frequency motor as a power source, and drives the top drive center tube (main shaft) to drive drilling pipe for drilling through gear deceleration; There is a side single guide and slide block type guide tackle; The hydraulic station is integrated with the top drive body; It can be used for drilling rig with 4000 meters nominal drilling depth. 9

12 1 Product Introduction AC Electric Top Drive-double motor DQ50DB DQ70DB DQ90DB TDS device The top drive adopts double AC and variable frequency motor as the power source, and the gear reduction can make the rod rotary drilling by driving the top drive spindle. The main motor adopts one-toone control,which can choose single motor or double one; with single guide rail and roller guide block; with the hydraulic station on the ground, the dual pump is for backup. 14 Hydraulic Top Drive DQ10/600Y TDS device 1 Product Introduction The TDS is driven by two main hydraulic motors as the power source, and the gear reduction can make the rod rotary drilling by driving the top drive spindle. A hydraulic motor can compound with two main hydraulic motors after the gear reduction,providing the unloading power together; and with single guide rail and roller guide block. It can provide hydraulic power by hydraulic station of the drilling rig. The overall structure is compact and light weight and it can be used in the nominal drilling depth of 1000m car or the trailer rigs. It has been used in Xinjiang oilfield. 14

18 Ⅱ Product Features BOMCO TDS universal features: Lifting system using patented t double-load l d channel structure, during the trip in and trip out, drill string load from the main bearing does not pass, effectively extending the service life of the main bearing With side-mounted split-jaw back up clamps, patented four-point floating dies clamps drill string for reliable holding. The back-up clamp can be used to complete the on-site replacement of Saver sub and IBOP. Equipped pipe handing device with high degree of mechanization, Greatly reduce the labor intensity and danger level. Configure the remote control valve, in the event of well kick and blowout can quickly close the mud channel, make the well controll operation more safer. 18

The control loop uses two sets of PLC to built the cold redundancy, set several safety interlock function to ensure safe and reliable operation. The short-time overload ability of the motor can be used to break out and easy to operate. Rotary head internal reserved hydraulic elevator rotary oil connection, to be adapt to the upgrading of pipe handing system. Control system can be seted in DCR or separate console. 21
