METSCELLANEOUS: The Mets have won eight in a row...the last time the Mets won eight straight games was April 22-30, The last time the Mets had a longer winning streak was April 12-23, 2015, when they won 11 straight...the Mets.909 (10-1) winning percentage is the best in the majors. THROUGH 11 GAMES: New York is 10-1 or better through its first 11 games of the season for the first time in franchise history.
